I woke up different that morning. I didn't want to eat, I didn't want to get dressed, and I didn't want to go to class. If I'm being honest I didn't want to do anything really. My roommate never came back, or maybe she did and I just didn't notice.

The day passed slowly, every second I sat on the couch my vision became more unclear. Night fell like a heavy blanket, suffocating everyone beneath. I couldn't see it anymore, but I know he's still here. I stopped opening the curtains, and occasionally I could see two flickering lights in the window. But that didn't matter anymore. I stood in the bathroom looking at the mirror, the only thing I could see was the tears coming down from my two hollow, black eyes. My hands shook as I twisted the electric wires around my wrists. I shivered as I stepped into the cool bath. Maybe it was him making me do this, maybe it wasn't, but it only took three seconds.
