The Drop Off

~14 years earlier~

"Big bro." Said a small girl with purple eyes. "What is it Lily?" The older boy questioned "Is there really another world where we belong?" She was making a sad longing face the older bro tried to look away and act cool but her face was too cute making him chuckle and say " As a matter fact I am 89% sure there's another world for us out there somewhere." Lily still had a sad-ish face making the big bro frown " What is it now Lily?""Are you really sure it's out there?" The brother put his hand to his face and scrunching his face up pretending to think really hard making Lily giggle unable to stop she started playfully punching him trying to get him out of that stupid pose so she could calm down. Finally he gave up and said " I just know I can feel it in my gut." Suddenly his stomach growled making them both fall over in laughter. Their mom called them in for it was time to eat/ chow down. After dinner they brushed their teeth and headed up stairs for storytime. Tonight their mom was telling a story about a place where children would never grow up and among those boys was Poetry Pan and his best friend a little fairy that helped them in trying to escape a mean old captain. When storytime was over the two purple-eyed children snuggled into their blankets and dreamed about going to the place where children never grow up, meeting Poetry Pan, and defeating that mean old grouchy captain to save their friends.

The Next Day~

Lily shuffled to the kitchen table tired because she NEEDED COFFEE. Coffee was her one and only true love especially in the mornings.

Later in the afternoon Lily and her big bro got a popsicle from out of their fridge and walked outside. "Lily I have to show you something." big bro said with a serious face. Lily nodded and followed him to where they were going "Lily, I call this The Drop Off." The Drop Off was a gigantic hole in the ground that seemed to go down forever Lily looked around and saw that this hole had NOT been dug out by machines or any human it looked as if it had fallen inside itself. Suddenly a growl was heard from behind. Big bro instantly went in front of Lily to protect her. As he did a wolf slunk out of the shadows this was not any ordinary wolf as Lily had seen once before this wolf had red eyes that seemed that he had been planning to kill the children for a very very long time he also had black fur covered in blood, arrows, and scars from his previous victims. Lily started to sneak away from behind her brother's back without the wolf with a lust for blood and her nerdy/ cool-ish bro shaking in fear noticing her and hid in a hole up in a tree just barely big enough to fit her in. Suddenly the wolf jumped at Lily's brother but her brother raised a hand and a fireball coming out of his hand at the wolf. It hit the wolf and started to consume the wolf in flames like it was EATING the wolf. Her bro was blown back from the blast and fell into the wide gaping mouth of The Drop Off."Nooooooooooo" Lily screamed crying jumping out of her hiding place to see if her brother was still there, but alas he was not. Lily fell weeping to the ground all her emotions flooded at her drowning her she was unable to speak unable to breath until she felt the warm arms of her mother wrap around and take her away from the scene...

(Oh gosh flippin 639 words not including this it took forever but it was worth it. Sorry it's not much but I have school I need to keep up with)
