Chapter 35

Sorry for the extremely late updates. I've been getting no sleep trying to complete my assignments for the past month and since today is the so called last submissionnn. Here ya'll go. Sorry if the chapter sucks. Lack of sleep does that.😅

Third Person's POV:

"Where are we going Papa?" Amerie questioned curiously as she watched the scenery outside speed past them as the chauffeur drove them to only Lucifer knows where.

"Secret." Lucifer sticked out his tongue at her playfully, making her whine slightly at the unsatisfying answer she've received. "Shhh. Daddy's sleeping." That made Amerie stop her whining immediately as she looked down to Eros in hopes that she did not accidentally wake him up. A soft 'phew' left her lips upon seeing that her Dad was still sleeping peacefully, his head rested on Lucifer's lap comfortably.

Laying down horizontally opposite her dads, she eyes trailed to their bare hands before her brows scrunched up in confusion. "Where are your rings? My mummy and daddy had matching rings on their second little finger."

"Eh..." Her question made Lucifer choke on air as he searched for a decent reason to reply her with but when he couldn't think of one, the worse case scenario popped up in Amerie's mind as a look of horror dawned on her.

"Do you not love Daddy, Papa?" Her voice cracked at the end, fearing that her Papa and Daddy will not be together and she'll be left alone again. She remembered her parents telling her that the rings they wore is a symbol of their love for each other and seeing Lucifer and Eros without any, made her feel uneasy.

"No no. I do love your Daddy, sweetheart. Don't tell Daddy but I have Daddy's ring and I am going to ask him to marry me. Papa's just waiting for the right time to do so as it may be too fast."

"Really?!" Her eyes lit up excitedly at Lucifer's confession, ignoring whether its fast or not as all she wanted was her Papa and Daddy to get married soon. This made Lucifer place his finger on his lips, hoping that she'll be softer or the surprise may just be ruined.

"Yes. Really."

"Yay! Okie. Amerie keep secret from Daddy. Pinky promise."

"Pinky promise."

Little did they know, Eros was awake then and had heard every word spoken, loud and clear before he went back to sleep again. What was even more surprising was the smile that tugged on Eros lips at the thought of getting married to Lucifer. The one he had fallen deeply for over the past 1 year and 5 months.

Eros's POV:

"Wake up love, we're here." The soothing voice of Lucifer's stirred me awake, followed by the sound of doors opening and closing loudly which made me wince involuntarily. "Sorry. I'll ask Amerie to not-"

"It's alright Ray. Where are we anyways?" As if on cue, the door got thrown open wide and there stood Amerie with large shining eyes and a huge smile of amazement on her face. I guess it's somewhere for her age.

"Sweetheart, next time please open the door softer and maybe less violently."

"Oops. Sorry Papa. Morning Daddy!" She stuck out her tongue guiltily yet with the wide grin still on her face.

"Morning Angel. So what made you so excited?"

"Papa brought us to haven!" Haven?

"Haven?" She nodded enthusiastically, jumping on the spot looking as if she's getting ready to dash back into wherever she had explored a few minutes ago.

"Candies! Lots and lots of them!" Candy? The sweet sweet thing that Lucifer gave me before to try? Ah...I want to try the long long one. Lucifer said it was good but I've never got the chance to try it.
