Lauren Jauregui was arrested in Chicago after allegedly attacking a security guard and getting caught with cocaine.
Sources familiar with the situation tell us the singer was partying in a club after Camila Cabello's show on Friday and was acting too crazy. We're told several security guards approached her, asking her to calm down, but Jauregui started to throw punches ... striking one of the guards in the face several times.
We're told she was detained by police, who allegedly discovered cocaine in the singer's pocket.
Our sources say she was taken into custody on suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics and use of narcotics.
Several videos taken inside the club show Jauregui fighting with girlfriend Camila Cabello who left before the arrest.
It was known that Jauregui was drinking again but we weren't sure until now if she started using cocaine again. Sources close to the singer tell us her cocaine use wasn't something new and Camila Cabello was very much aware of it.
