Dipper had everything he could ever need or desire. Land, plentiful resources, safe, happy subjects, and a family. No, one thing was missing. Bill. His heart throbbed in pain at the though of him being gone. The demon did many a bad thing yes, but he showed something to Dipper he did to few. He could be kind, loving, and a wonderful ruler. He just needed a chance to prove it. But he had to move past it for the most part, for his subject's he had to be a strong, stern, but fair leader. He had to lead by good example for his children. Shit, he hadn't decided if Mason , Orion, Gill or Billie would succeed him yet. Thankfully, the two knew there was a couple eons before they had to worry about that.

"Your highness."

Dipper jumped out of thought at the voice.

"Oh, Phyronica. What is it?" Dipper asked after giving a sigh of relief.

"I was going to remind you that you had a meeting at twelve Wednesday." The Fire demon said, looking concerned.

"Oh yes, thank you. I best prepare for a well drawn out trip then." Dipper gently laughed.

"Are you feeling well, you can explain you weren't feeling well." Phyronica advised, he concern for her friend obvious.

"I'm sure I'll live from it. I just, I've been feeling low spirited lately. I'm still newly widowed, and all, but it feels like the title hangs around my neck like a buzzard." Dipper gently mourned.

"Maybe a visit to your sister will help. You seem to improve a little when you visit her some of the every day." Phyronica suggested.

"I, I guess your right." Dipper said regaining a tired smile.

After the two talked the queen retired to their chamber early. Call it concerning, but Dipper really was tired. He had been attending meetings on and off since he now stood as ruler, while Bill preferred to sit back to watch the world burn at it's own hand. regardless he felt better not traveling so very often. Laying in bed after changing attire he closed his eye's, hoping inside he would have a reason to not be stuck in this emotional pit any longer. His dreams were blissful, enchanting, and intoxicating in their magic. The illusion provided more than enough comfort to escape reality. But it was a shame they didn't last, or could be fully remembered. Opening his eyes the next morning he was greeted with the same morning sight as before. Sighing he got out of bed and got dressed. He had to dress a little differently now that he was the lead ruler. Dipper joked saying one of it 's requirement's meant more things to wear. The new trinkets composed of some bracelet like gautlets that were chained to sapphire rings around his middle fingers, a newly styled necklace and circlet, even his usual shirt and short's were altered. His shirt no longer wrapped around his shoulders, instead a piece of gold silk that connected to the white wrapped around his neck. His short's were replaced by a skirt like garb similar to what Egyptian kings wore. He was waiting to be presented with earrings to wear as well, for it was the only accessory he did not have. After being satisfied with how he looked he left for the dinning room.

Arriving in the dinning room revealed only Mason waiting to eat with him.

"Mason, where are your brother's and sisters?" He asked in surprise.

"Either sleeping in, or exploring our kingdoms grounds. But I'd bet on mostly sleeping in, mama." Mason explained, before greeting him mother with a hug.

"Well, they best hurry or else all the food will be gone." Dipper chuckled.

As he took his seat he heard rushed foot steps, and around the corner came Billie.

"Sorry I'm later Mother!" He said, speed walking over.

"Good morning to you too Billie." Dipper chuckled as he was greeted with a hug from the light yellow demon.

"Gill and Orion are right behind me, their just walking." He jokingly.

The blue and silver twins eventually came in not long after those words, greeting their mother like their twins and taking their seat's beside their respective identical twin. The five enjoyed breakfast together with simple talk of what teenagers usually talked about. Dipper laughed to himself as his four children talked to themselves on the subject of attractive significant others.
The universe really did seem to revolve around his children and himself.
