- BETTY'S POV -
Today, Jughead, Archie, Veronica and I have taken a short vacation in The Jone's luxurious summer cottage upstate. The three hour drive there was full of loud laughter, talking, gossiping, and silent sleeping.
"Thanks Andre, that'll be it." Smiles Jug politely, tapping the tall man on his shoulder signalling him to leave. "Alright guys! We have five days to do whatever the fuck we want." Screams a slightly drunken Veronica, raising her hands above her head. Jughead frowns, slightly embarrassed of his sister.
I stared at the new cottage, with fresh navy wood lining the exterior, cloud white curtains hanging still, covering the inside. I walked through the bright yellow door first, and not to my surprise, the inside was stunning. My jaw dropped. It was large, and open concept. You could spot the freshly cleaned marbled countertops from here. On the right side was a cozy living room with a modern wood fireplace, which fills the room with a pleasing scent. There were colourful rugs, a variety of candles and plants decorating the wooden shelves, and a beautiful diamond chandelier hanging on top of the glass coffee table. In front of me was the wooden spiral staircase, which lead to the bedrooms where we went to first, to unpack.
"Do you like it Betts?" Asks Jug in a hoarse voice, pulling me closer so that our faces were inches apart. "I love it." I giggle, connecting our eager lips. Jughead was always so nice to kiss, his lips were always warm, and soft. I also adored how he smells, like pine with a slight hint of mint. He held on to my waist, or sometimes my ass which was pleasant.
"Come down, lovebirds!" Screams Archie from downstairs. I smile, and we decent down to the first floor. "What are the plans?" Questions Jug, putting his arm around me. "I suggest we go to the beach." Veronica beams, raising a brow. "That seems great!" I exclaim. And the boys nod in approval.
Jughead and I return to our room to get dressed. I zip open our large, slightly used, black suitcase to find a small pink bikini. "Jug! I told you to pack an appropriate one piece!" I say, anger in my voice. "Sorry." He said, trying not to laugh or smirk but he obviously failed. I could see his mouth slightly turn up into a smile. Annoyed, I roll my eyes, sighing. "It's okay, baby. Your mine." I hear him say, then forcefully he turned me around and our lips touched for a long moment. My hands tangled themselves in his dark hair, "I love you." I whisper. "I love you too."
With no other choice, I got dressed in the tiny bikini which showed off a tremendous amount of skin. The bottom piece was a waterproof thong, and the top showed of the top portion of my breasts, and had a ton of cleavage. Jughead packed himself normal black boxers. I turn around to face my raven haired lover, a hand on my hip. "You look stunning." He smiles. I show off a little twirl for him, and he kisses the top of my head.
We meet up with Archie and Veronica down at the beach. "Hey!" I say, waving to the two teenagers splashing each other in the water. The wave back, smiling. Jughead grabs my hand and pulls me by the water. The icy liquid makes my body switch. "Ah!" I scream. "Come on!" Jug pushes me a bit. "No!" He then picks me up, and starts counting down from three. While screaming I squeeze my eyes shut, and the I fall into the frosty sea.
The rest of the day was well spent on the beach. It was around ten thirty when we went back to the cabin and got cleaned up. Jughead was laying on the bed with his boxers on reading a book. "Oh Juggy.." I say, in soothing voice. "Yeah, Betts?"
I open the door, completely naked, my hair in a sleek bun. His eyes look up and down at me, before sitting up. I pounce onto him, pushing him back. I stare into his dreamy green eyes, smiling. Our desperate lips lock in a passionate kiss, I hold onto his jaw, while his hands grip my waist.
- Just to cut this short they have sex but I suck at writing that stuff -
We lay on the bed, our naked bodies tangled together. We were sweaty, breathless, pleased. I felt like a rag doll. We couldn't move much, so until we fell asleep we stared into each others eyes.
I awoke to the songs of morning birds, and sunshine blaring out our bedroom window. I looked over to my right - Jughead was still sound asleep. I decided to take a shower, since my body was still sweaty and sticky from last night.
After finishing my shower, I kissed Jughead on his forehead, waking him up. His eyes flutter open. "Good morning sleepyhead." I smile, connecting our lips. "Morning, sunshine." He says, softly, stroking my damp hair. I laid on top of him for a little bit, and we were discussing the plans for today until a scream came from downstairs.
My eyes widen as I quickly hop off Jughead and we get dressed. "V! Are you okay?! What happened?l I say, frantically. The raven teen girl had tears steaming down her face, Archie hugging her, Jug stressing out for his sister, and me trying to figure out what occurred. "Jug.. Mom she-she.." Veronica paused, starting to cry again. Jughead ran forward to hold his upset sibling. "She passed away in a car accident. Dad just called." She broke out in tears. Jug stared at the ground, with no emotion on his face. I thought about hugging him, but then realized that he needed some space. A tear sped down his light pink face, a hand then wiping it away. Many other tears then followed that one, and he went upstairs. Veronica followed him, and Archie stressfully followed Veronica.
I was left alone downstairs. When I'm by myself I usually have a self care session. Take a warm rose petal bath; wearing a face mask, listening to classical music, and gathering my thoughts. But in this situation, my mine couldn't slow down. I was continually worrying about Jughead, and V. I heard them crying upstairs, but I know that Jug likes being alone in difficult times. So, I just sat on the couch for hours, staring at the woven rug, which was wine red. I counted the holes and the loose strings.
"Betts?" Croaks a soft voice. I bolt up from the couch, turning around. Jughead was standing a few feet away, his face the same colour as the rug I stared at for hours. "Oh, Jug." I whisper, hugging him. I stroked his back, and told him that it was okay to cry, and he could talk to me. But I knew that Jughead would never dare to cry in front of me. I understood he was embarrassed when the tears streamed down his face when Veronica told him the news. He never enjoyed discussing his feelings, so i didn't push him.
The next few hours were spent cheering him up, kissing, cuddling, and eating. "How are you feeling?" I ask, running my hands through his luscious hair. "Good. So is Veronica." He replies, kissing my lips softly. I smile, caving my face into his chest.
