At age seven he was put up for adoption. For the first few days he was in the family orphanage, he was confused as to why he was with the orphan children. Of course, he didn't mind, as the kids were his friends. But over the course of 2 weeks, one of the teens decided to tell him the truth. It was one of his best friends brother. Crying he told the young boy that his mother didn't want him and his sister.

"Really? Does that mean that I get to be a part of another family? If that's right, I want to be with you!" the older cries harder. He was almost 17, meaning if he didn't get adopted he would belong to the Korean government, without any chance of being a part of his younger brother's family. And here was his brother's friend, saying that even though he was abandoned, he didn't mind.

"I want to be a part of your family as well. Let's dream of it!" He grabs the boy into a bone-crushing hug, and sobs on his shoulders. The boy doesn't mind and is happy he could provide his friend with comfort.
