how you meet [z.h] ♡

y/n pov:

it was a nice warm day in california, the weather was absolutely perfect! your three other friends and you had decided to go to the beach. after what seemed like hours, you finally arrived! your friends were much more outgoing than you were, you weren't shy but just less outgoing. it sometime did annoy you that they would forget about you but you usually shrugged it off. you saw your friends had already started a game of volleyball with a group of guys, your rolled your eyes.

"thanks for telling me." you muttered as you put down your towel. you took your tank top and shorts off to reveal your white swimsuit. you look at your friends wondering when they would be done, until you saw a cute guy looking at you and you blushed and turned around to face the water. you thought to yourself 'damn, hes really cute but he was probably looking at [y/f/n].'

you sighed and you sat there scrolling on your phone for a bit, your turn your head to see where your friends were but instead you saw a volleyball coming towards you.

"heads up!" someone yelled as the ball hit the side of your stomach.

"oh fuck." your phone fell as you groaned in pain.

"oh my god, i am so sorry, are you okay?!" someone spoke. you look up it was the cute guy from earlier.

"y-yeah i am f-fine."you spoke looking down.

"are you sure? once again im so sorry." he once again apologized.

"hey, it's okay i will survive." you joked around to lighten the mood causing you both to laugh.

"i am zach" he sat infront of you and smiled.

"i am [y/n]" you blushed slightly as he sat and looked at him.

"that is a beautiful name. well [y/n] i would like to make it up to you."

"zach, really it's okay it was just a ball." you laugh.

"i still would like to, can i have your number [y/n]."
he smiled looking at you. you nod your head and write down your number on zachs phone and hand it over to him.

"i have to go my friends must be waiting but i'll make it up to you soon." as he gave you a small hug and ran off to his friends.

you turn around and started heading home. you texted your friends and they understood. later that night you lay in bed and started watching a movie. you heard a buzz as you checked your phone.

unknown: hey y/n, it's zach."

after that one text, you both talked all night. you got to know each other much more, you learnt he was in a band as well. zach had asked you out. of course you said yes, he was such a sweet guy. it was a starting of a beautiful relationship.
