"Have you called him?" My mom asks me.
"What for he's not gonna answer." I say playing with Harmoni.
"He at least needs to start taking care of her." She says looking over at me from the stove.
"I know but he's not answering my calls or texts and I've tried to go over there so he could see her." I tell her but she continues to be a shrew.
I sigh because she acts like I don't know what I'm doing with my child. She doesn't do this to Karliyah so what the fuck.
"You shouldn't have gotten pregnant and you wouldn't be going through any of this." She says and I look at her.
"Excuse me?! You're going through the same thing with our dad so you don't get to say that to me!" I raise my voice at her not letting her say anything else.
I put Harmoni in her car seat and buckle her in grabbing my keys and her diaper bag leaving.
I start my car and drive off going home. Her uncle Dojoon is coming over anyway. At least he wants to spend time with his niece.
I finally reach home parking in the driveway. I see DoJoon's car as I put the car in park he rushes over.
"Give me!" He yells excited to see Moni and I chuckle getting out as Dojoon rushes me to open the front door.
I finally open it and we head to the living room. He sets Moni's car seat down taking her out.
"Hi, my little princess how are you?" He coos at her lifting her in the air.
"Say Uncle Joon I can't talk yet so I'm not gonna answer you." He says still talking to her smiling.
He kisses her on the cheek setting her in his lap. Looking over at me he asks.
"How are you doing?"
"I could be better." I say.
"Why say that?"
"I just got into an argument with my mom. It was about Woosung and how he doesn't want anything to do with me or Moni." I say looking at my hands playing with them.
"He hasn't really been doing good himself either." He says and I look up at him.
"He's been going out getting drunk, partying, and sleeping with whatever he sees walking." he Continues.
"He feels guilty about everything he just doesn't want to admit it." He finishes.
"He does?"
"Yeah Ryan I've been trying to get him to call or something but he just won't." He says.
"Maybe you should come over so HaJoon and JaeHyeong can meet Moni. They haven't seen you for a while. And I'm pretty sure they would love to meet their niece they never knew about.." He says and I nod.
"I have some things to do at the gym and I'll be there." I tell him and he smiles.
He continues to play with Moni and I run to cook dinner.
*DoJoon's POV*
I continue to play with Moni until she falls asleep.
I can't believe she didn't notice I just set her up. It's about time they talk it out and he stops running from his daughter and Ryan.
Ryan's had a hard time with everything. She is my best friend and I can't keep seeing her struggle. She's been having a hard time since Woosung left her once she told him she was pregnant.
He told her he wasn't ready to be a father and that he's too focused on his music. She was so broken after that I had to go to her house just to get her out of bed.
