your best friend lannan eacott was a pretty big youtuber. you were sometimes in his vlogs and occasionally in videos. everyone shipped you guys but you both thought that it was silly. i mean you and lannan, together? what a joke..
the party was in a couple of hours, but i went over to lachlan's to film a video before. lannan was a bit quiet all day but he told me he was just tired. i decided not to think much of it.
i parked in lachlan's driveway and turned off the car. i then got out and walked up to the door before knocking. the door then opened after a few seconds to reveal lachlan.
"yo! y/n! what's up!" he said before pulling me into a hug. "hey!" i said, awkwardly hugging back. he led me to his room and explained how we were going to do "she talks, i play."
he already had the camera set up as he opened fortnite. "alright, you ready?" he asked as i nodded.
he did his intro before moving on. "as you guys have seen by the thumbnail, and or, title. today i have y/n!" he says, making me wave at the camera. "hi!" i said with a giggle. "i stole y/n from lannan today, and this is her first time on the channel!" he says as i nod.
we then got into it, we did squads first. we made a different account for the video so no one would recognize lachlan obviously. "hello?" i said into the mic. "hi." a voice said, scaring me. "hey, where we dropping?" i asked making lachlan nod. "how about tilted?" he said making lachlan nod again.
we continued as i got hit on a ton. it honestly sucked. i made a brave face but thankfully we finished quickly. we decided to eat so we ate cereal and just hung out. mid-conversation i got a text from lannan.

"hey, lannan's bringing me clothes, he should be here in about thirty minutes." i say making lachlan deflate slightly. "why?" he asked making me laugh. "the party?" i say making his eyes widen. "oh yeah! i almost forgot." he says with a chuckle. "guess i'm just that mesmerizing huh?" i said with a laugh.
"listen y/n-," he starts but gets cut off by the door opening. "what's up fuckers!" we hear making us turn to the door. there stood lannan with a bag. "wow, you got here quick. what'd you do? run all the red lights?" i said with a smile.
"no traffic." he said, staring at lachlan. they were drilling holes into each other in silence. "ooooookay, im going to go change. thanks lannan." i said, patting his shoulder. when i see what he brought me i smile. it was a skin-tight black dress, white heels, and a really pretty necklace my mom gave me when i moved back.
i quickly changed and put my regular clothes into the bag. i came out making them look up at me. "woah." they said in unison making me blush. "i know right?" i said, spinning quickly. "well, let's go!" i said before taking lannan's hand and running out the door.
lannan and i waited outside as lachlan came trudging out. lannan definitely looked better while lachlan looked irritated. we got into lachlan's car and went to the party.
there was already a ton of people there. i got nervous and held lannan's hand. he turned to me and smiled. we then got out and made our way to the door past people. lachlan quickly greeted the host and introduced us. "nice to meet you." he said, taking my hand and kissing it. i faked a smile before being led to the kitchen.
"here drink up!" lachlan says, pushing a cup in my hand. i fake smile for what seems like the 100th time and drink the contents of the cup. i make a sour face, that makes him laugh. "where's lannan?" i ask. "i think i saw him sucking face with some girl." he said.
i wasn't sure if he was joking but i felt hurt, and a bit jealous. i then chugged the rest of the drink making him cheer. "now it's a party." he said, filling it up again.

after a couple cups i felt weird, and drowsy. i then saw lannan and smiled. "lannan!" i slurred making him face palm. "she's drunk!?" he said, before picking me up. "yeah." lachlan said as i laid my head on lannan's chest. "so you were planning to get her drunk and take advantage of her?" lannan asked.
"only if she was up for it of course." lachlan said with a wink making lannan give him a look of disgust. he picked me up, as i wrapped my hands around his neck and closed my eyes. he then walked out of the kitchen, went through the living room, and then went out the door. "hey." i slurred, picking my head up. lannan hummed as he opened his car door and put me in the passenger side.
he then came in through a the other side and started the car. he then clipped on my seatbelt before doing his. "you're cute!" i said before giggling. lannan blushed before laughing. "hey, you should date me!" i said, sitting up abruptly making lannan jump.
"whatever you say sweetheart." he said, glancing at me. "yay!" i said before erupting into a fit of giggles again. "you're adorable." he said under his breath making me sit up again. "hey! i heard that!" i said before laughing again. i then started singing the baby shark song.
