Chapter 3
Alex P.O.V.
2 weeks later
After that 'little' incident a few weeks ago. Summer hasn't talked to me at all. She hasn't spared me a look. Thinking about it now, I think she hates me more then she used to. Why did I have to make her hate me!
Because your a hormonal teenage boy
Something in my mind said
That's not a good enough answer! Why am I trying so hard to have this girl like me?
I sighed and looked at the ceiling.
"Alex! Can you go over to Ms. Cross and ask for some sweetend condensed milk! I forgot to get some at the store." My mom yelled across the house.
"Ok!" I yelled back excited. I finally have a reason to go over there. I dressed a little nicer and bolted out my bedroom door in excitement.
"Fuck!" I yelled as I fell down
"Timber!" I heard my little brother yell across the house as he heard a loud thump.
"Oh my gosh! Alex are you ok?" my mom said with a concerned look on her face.
"Mom I'm a big boy. I can handle myself" I said while standing up. I was screaming in pain on the inside.
"Well, if you say so" she said not sounding very convinced.
"See you in a bit" I said while running out the house.
I knocked on the door for a good ten minutes only to have a very aggravated Summer appear.
"I- uh- ya see-
"If you don't start correctly make sentences I will shut the door on you"
"I need some sweetened coincidence milk? My mom sent me over here. Is your mom here?"
"No my mom isn't home, but your lucky I like your mom" she said while opening the door for me.
I closed the door behind me while taking off my shoes and heading to the kitchen.
She opened the cabinet door and got out a can of sweetened condensed milk.
"Here you g- OH MY GOSH!" she screamed. Pointing at my foot dropping the can.
"Your foot is bleeding!" she said as she ran to the bathroom getting out a first aid-kit.
I looked down to see what she was talking about, and would you look at that. My foots bleeding. Just great.
"This might sting a little" she said as she got out some disinfect alcohol and rubbed it on the open spores.
I seethed in pain.
"Yea hurts just a little" I glared at her.
"Be glad I'm helping you at least" she said faintly
"I'm glad you helped" I said sarcastically
I guess those were the words she wasn't looking for. She put extra alcohol of the cloth and rubbed a little harder.
"That shut you up" she said sounding delighted.
What's wrong with this girl.
Summer P.O.V.
"All right your all patched up" I said whole cleaning up with bloody cloths and cotton balls.
"Thanks" he said limping to put his shoes back on.
"Oh no you don't" I said blocking way. As much as I hate him I'm not a bad host. I treat my guest, even of those who aren't deemed worthy
"What do you except me do to? My mom still needs the sweetened milk stuff" he stressed.
"I will get it for you, but you need to keep anything off your foot for it to heal properly." I said while picking the can off the ground.
"Look I can get it myself I will he fine" he said while limping towards the can.
I tried to stop him but it was no use. He picked up the can and went to put his shoes on.
"Stop! didn't you hear what I said before about the no shoes on feet deal?" I stressed quickly
"I will be fine" he said trying to put one on but seethed at the pain.
"No let me get that" I said struggling to get the shoe out of his hand.
"Summer let the show go now" he commanded
"You think you can command ME in my own home?" I challenged
"Yes" he said
I glared at him and took the shoe out of this hand. Instead he snatched the shoe too hard and I fell on him, ending us both on the floor.
"Idiot" I mumbled under my breath. I tilted my head up and something warm and soft touched my lips. An arm wrapped around my waist and held me close.
I turned my head to catch a breath.
"Alex did that just happen?"
"Yes, yes it did"
