Raindrops fell heavily on top of the brunnette's head, falling down her face and sometimes blurring her vision. Loud screeching of cars and the pitter-patter of rain against them soothed the silent ambience she always loved. She's always been fond of being in a state of serenity, being alone, but not lonely. That's what she adress herself.

A deep sigh escaped from between her now pale lips due to the cold breeze. She didn't bother taking a cab going home, thinking it doesn't matter anymore seen as she was already drenched. Her damped hair sticked againts her forehead when the wind blew hard, and just as she was about to sweep them off of her eyes, a rushing sound of a car went passed her, hitting the muddy water on the ground with its tires causing them to splash all over the brunnette's body, including her face just so you know.

"Great." She mumbled, not bothering to wipe the dirt off.

"Stupid. Idiot. Lame. Why do you have to be here? You're not needed. They're better off without you." The brunnette told herself.

And if it wasn't for the rain, she knew the water cascaded down her cheeks would be visible.

"... she wasn't answering my calls Haz, and I'm near about passing out. I'm bloody worried you know? I just thought maybe she..."

The sound of the front door opening and closing made the afro haired girl stopped from talking. To say she was relieved when she saw Jade walking in was an understatement. She cares deeply for her best friend.

"Oh my god, Jade. Where the hell have you been?! I was calling you nonstop but you weren't answering any of them." Leigh rambled, rushing towards the bambi eyed girl and bringing her in for a warm hug.

Jade sighed. "I'm sorry lee lee. I didn't mean to worry you. I was at Perrie's."

Leigh Anne pulled away from the hug and scanned her friend's features, realizing just now she was covered with mud and that her eyes were bloodshot.

"What happened? Were you crying?"

Just as she thought, Jade only responded with a lazy shrug, pushing past her bestfriend and going up the stairs without another word.

The dark skinned girl sighed and shook her head. It has been so long since she saw the brunnette's smile. She knew half of the reason why, but doesn't dig further into it, afraid that she might upset her even more. With a heavy heart, she lunged for the sofa and laid down herself, deciding to take a nap before thinking of a way to get to do the talking next time to the brunnette about what happened. As if Jade would let her though.

*Morning*

Jade groaned. The heavy feeling was beginning to kick in and she was hella sure it was because of the rain. She wanted to stay in and forget all the things that was happening just for now, but she knew it wouldn't be the best idea since finals are coming up and plenty of school works were waiting for her.

Grunting in pain, she forced herself out of the bed, deciding it would be best to have a nice shower. She hated the fact that it wasn't raining anymore. She loves rain. Thinking how most people could hate it. Rain would likely be her buddy that she knew she could tell her feelings to without getting judged. No offense to Leigh Anne and Harry, who by the way, were her best friends. She loved them to pieces and is very grateful to have them in her life. But she can't tell them everything. As for the rain, she loves it just as much as them. She address it as her safe haven. Being it the only thing that could relax her mind during her down falls. Perrie is her bestfriend too. But that's another part of the story.

After about half an hour in the shower, Jade got dressed in a simple plain white shirt and a tattered skinny jeans, topping it off with a hoodie since it's starting to get chilly outside. Not that anyone would be pleased even if she would dress very nicely. She didn't bother putting on make up, since "I'ts pointless anyway, I'll never be pretty".
