The Last Chance

Chapter Two (Rough Draft)

-Chapter Two-

Nora cleaned as much as she can while cooking a grand dinner for the party, all while her father sits there and watch her struggle. Nora didn’t realize that her father was consume by his own thoughts, as she made the mistake of not cooking the ham the way that he likes.  She gives a sight then decided to start again before he comes back into his senses.

Her father thoughts was not the most innocent and sane as he glazes off into space. All he could think about is what he was going to do to his ‘pet’ of a daughter that he was granted with by his version of a Queen. The only thing that made his Queen go was that whore he had to call a daughter- well at least legally. His thoughts continued to envision a thousand ways to torture his pet. His thoughts was shortened as the house phone ring, he looked up at his pet to see she all but ran to get the phone.  After a while he went back into his thoughts on how he is going to have fun tonight with his pet.

As Nora got the phone, she heard a man’s voice asking for her father, she went back into the kitchen and tapped her father on the shoulder after calling out to him numerous times. As soon as she finished tapping him, his hand went up and grab her throat and started chocking her.

Nora makes a sharp gasps for air and her flew up to meet his hands trying to loosen them, she struggled to speak as she says “There’s someone on the phone for you, I tried to call you but you didn’t answer”. That sentence was the hardest she ever had to say because each word she spoke, the less air she was receiving in her burning lungs, protesting that they receive the oxygen they need before they collapse. Her eyes begins to water and her burning, screaming lungs begin to hurt even more.

It didn’t took him a long time to process what she told him, matter of fact he knew that the phone had rang, but he just like to see his pet suffers and have that doe like feature across her face. He continues to chock her until he deemed it was worthy to allow her to breathe again. He let go, and threw her on to the ground as he left to get the phone in his study.

Nora could not understand what she had done wrong to deserve this she thought as she breathes deeply to have some oxygen get in to her lungs. She looked at the stove and internally wished for death as she know that she would receive extra amount of punishment today after all. Nora finished the cooking, the cleaning and even water the plants that was neglected for a few days. She looked at the time and noticed that it was 6:30 pm and her father did not come down from his study yet. She was indecisive in regards to go up there and have him to evaluate her work or just set back doing nothing and have her temporary peace. Either way she was doomed, so she headed up stairs to knock on her father study. As she was about to knock, she heard screaming and profanity on the other side, she stopped and wonder what they was arguing about.

As soon as she wondered that, she heard her father say, “Yes! You can have her for the night, but I expected my money upfront…No nothing is off limits…Okay, when do you want her? ... Tonight it is…Alright bye” The color drained from her face, forgetting that she was outside of her father study, she slammed down her fist. She heard footsteps rushing to get to the door to see who was at the door.

As the door opened, Nora passed out. Her father smiled wickedly and starts to drag her body down stairs into the basement. In his thoughts, he thought it was about time he trains his little pet, just who is the master after all. After he chained her up, he went back upstairs to postpone the party until 2 weeks from now. He came backed down and see that his pet was awake, he looked to her and smiled deviously and says “From now on, you will call me master and oh yeah, welcome to hell”
