Little Nightmare (Nightmare Sans (Dad) x Luna (son)

Chapter 7

* Time skip 8 months later.*
(Back with Nightmare and Luna)
*Nightmare's prov.*

It's been about 8 months since I found Luna. I'm very tired and exhausted. He wakes up about 3 times at night and is hard to calm when upset..... But I just can't get rid of him ever since I confirmed he was my son.  I still don't know how he is my son but I'm too exhausted to question it. I have a heir to my dark throne now....."Heh once he's older I can start teaching and training him. To help me take over " I chuckled.)

I looked at my sleeping son who was wrapped in the scarf like blanket I found him in sleeping in a crib that matched my throne. I smiled at him, he's the only one that has been able to make me smile a caring and not a insane or fake smile.... it feels.....nice?....

My arm was on the arm of my throne with my skull leaning on it as I was dozing off since I don't get much sleep thanks to Luna. And I knew he was going to be waking up soon as he had been out for about an hour in a half. I closed my eye socket to rest. I ended up falling into a light sleep.

Bout half hour later I woke to quiet whimpers. I knew right away it was Luna. I opened my eye socket tiredly and picked him up out of his crib with one of my tendrils as I brought him to my arms and held him close lightly rocking him and cooing to him softly to calm him. "There there. I'm right here" I cooed softly to him. He opened his eye sockets and looked up at my with midnight indigo colored tears at the corner of his eye sockets.

He than reached his small boney hands to me as I smiled at him and lift him closer to my skull to let him touch my face. His hands rested on both sides of my nose hole. I smiled at him as he giggled smiling. He than pulled his hands away as there was some black goop on his hands as he clapped his small hands together still giggling. I softly chuckled as I lowered him away from my face. With him still in my arms.

I got up and teleported both of us to the dining room and called a papyrus and told him to go make Luna some baby food, and to make me some lunch with coffee.  The papyrus nods and rushed off to the kitchen. I sat at the dinning room table with Luna still in my arms. I used one of my tendrils to grab luna's high chair and bring it over and set it up next to me.

I placed him in his high chair as the papyrus came out with what I asked and placed it on the table in front of my. I than excused him as he bows before leaving. I picked up the small bowl of baby food and the spoon and start to feed Luna.

After feeding him for about 5 minutes I used two tendrils to take over feeding him while I ate my own lunch and drank my coffee to stay awake. I watched Luna eat and get food all over his skull and hands. He looked at me after a couple minutes of eating and reached out for me ignoring the spoon full of food in front of him "d.....d.....da....da" my eye widened as I looked at him surprised but smiled. 'Aw he's trying to say his first word...... I sound like a fangirl when I said that....' I thought but was brought out of my thoughts by Luna again "da......da......d-d...a....da..da" he kept saying

"Are you trying to say dad?" I asked him smiling excited. "Come on kiddo you can do it" I said smiling 'Damn never thought I would say something like that in my life time' I dead pained a little "dada....da..da....dada.." my eye widens again as my smile grew I was so happy his first word was dad. I smiled and picked him up ignoring the food that was getting on my hoody "yep good job son. Your first word I'm so proud" I said making him giggle as I brought him close to my chest and hugged him before kissing the top of his head.

While I was hugging him I heard someone clear their throat and cough. My smile faded asbi looked over to where I heard it seeing one of the Papyruses standing by the door awkwardly. I glared at him for ruining the moment with my son. "What is it?" I growled. The papyrus started to quiver in fear a little before speaking "u-uhm.... s-someone i-i-s here t- to s- see you....y- your h- hi- highness" the papyrus stuttered.

"Who is it?" I asked or more of demanded. I haven't told any of the others about Luna the only that knows about him is blackberry. But I made him promise to keep it a secret. "I-its Dust y-your highness" he said nervously. I sighed in annoyance "send him to the throne room. I will meet him there after I clean up my son" I growled at him as he bows "y- yes sir!" Said a bit panicked before he left.

I huffed and looked down at Luna as he played with my hoody getting it dirty with his food covered hands. While he repeated the word "dad". I smiled down at him as I teleported to his room and went into the bathroom and cleaned him up. I also changed his diaper and put new clean onesy on him that was black with a crescent moon on the front and said 'Daddy's little Terror' on the back. After that I loosely wrapped his favorite blanket like scarf around him. It was his favorite thing in the world. He was very hard to calm when I took it to get it cleaned. He wouldn't stop screaming till he got it back.

I than walked over to the play pen he had in his room and placed him in there. "I'll be right back" I said and rubbed his skull before teleporting to a papyrus "go watch my son till I return" I demanded. The papyrus nods and rushed off to Luna's room as I teleported to my room and changed my hoody putting a clean one on. Than teleported to the throne room and on my throne.

"What do you need Dust?" I asked annoyed as he looked at me. He looked at me. "Are you here to tell me your leaving the group like Cross?" I asked Dust nods "sorry but not sorry I have a family now Nightmare. I need to be there for them" he said he sounded more melo than when he used to live in the castle like some of the others. Normally he would sound dark. But now he's calm. I sighed in annoyance at this. Dust was one of my best in the group

"And theres no way I can change your mind?" I asked glaring at him as he shook his skull. I growled and huffed "fine.... just leave" I growled he smirked at him as I cocked a none existent eyebrow "looks like someone is going soft?" He said chuckling darkly as I glared " I AM NOT GOING SOFT!!" I shouted sending a tendrils at him as he teleported away leaving.

Once he was gone and I couldn't sense his presence I sighed and calmed myself down as I sat on my throne and thought 'Maybe I am going soft after Luna came here' I sighed and teleported to luna's room and excused the papyrus. As he was about to leave I stabbed my tendril through his chest making him gasp in pain before he turned to goop and I consumed it.

I looked at Luna and saw him playing with his blanket and a stuffed wolf. I smiled at him relaxing as I sat down on the near by couch in his room and turned the tv on while I watched him. After a few minutes of watching tv I notice he was trying to stand and was using the wooden bars on the pen fence to help I smiled at I watched him. He fell back down a couple of times before giving up and whimpers looking at me with big puppy eyes.

I used my tendrils to pick him up and over the small fence as I helped him walk towards me.

Once he was by the couch I picked him up and laid on my back head resting against the arm of the couch. While he rested on my chest and ribs "dada...dada" he said I chuckled and nod to him "good job son you almost got it" I said tiredly. He laid on my chest while I watched tv my hand resting on his back. I heard soft snores as I looked at him seeing he was sucking on his small thumb while sleeping. I found it adorable. While looking at him I started to feel tired myself as I yawned and closed my eye slowly letting the darkness consume me in a dreamless sleep. With my son sleeping on my chest.

So sorry for taking so long to post I didn't know what to put. And I have been a bit busy with school coming up. I'll try to post at least 2-3 times a week. Hope you guys enjoyed ^_^
