They walked down the streets in silence. It seemed awkward, but it was manageable.

Wendy occasionally glanced to her side. To her side was the rosy haired Dragon Slayer himself. It felt unreal to her. Was what she was thinking true? She didn't know. She had trouble thinking that it was actually happening. Her mind was still processing the new information and it didn't want to be understood.

Shortly, they had arrived and they couldn't help but feel relief. The awkward silence was something they didn't like. It was unbearable.

"I'm guessing you don't have any money," she said with a smile. She could have stayed quiet, but tried to release the awkward silence.

Natsu chuckled like he always used to do. His usual grin almost seemed permanent. She scanned his face for any sign. Sign of guilt, panick or even sadness. Nothing. She found nothing. He seemed to be genuine and she didn't like the idea.

"Yeah. I used it all at the restaurant." he laughed.

Wendy wanted to scowl at him for deepening his lie.

Her younger self wouldn't have been like how she was then. She would've shyly asked him about it or just keep quiet. As she grew up to this point she became more confident. She grew bot only physically, but mentally as well.

Her smile never left, "Don't worry Natsu. I'll pay."

The incident that took place six months ago had change everyone in a way. She had changed her way of speaking to her friends. She stopped calling everyone san.

"Really!? Thanks a bunch!" he said as his grin widened. They were soon in the market.

The atmosphere wasn't awkward, but Wendy still felt an immense amount of turmoil. Even at her inner turmoil she was quick to speak.

"Natsu," she called. He hummed as a response. His eyebrows raised as he stared at her with crossed arms. "Can you go to the frozen section and find the fish that Happy wants? I'll be going to the luxury section for a bit and then meet up with you in the second frozen section, okay?" she asked with a smile and her time seemed genuine. He nodded in response and they separated ways.

She had walked away with a small wave, leaving the destructive individual alone in a shop. Probably wasn't the best idea, but it would work out.

She would've done the shopping along with him, but wanted to finish up quickly. She had plans after the short trip. One reason wasn't as friendly. Simply, she didn't want to be around him.

Albeit, nobody was as close as they were since that incident.

Originally even after what she had come a conclusion to, she wouldn't have imagined herself going on a shopping trip with Natsu. All relations of each Fairy Tail member had changed. For good? No. For worse? Maybe.

Lucy's death worked in a similar way as Lisanna's death. It affected Natsu and Lisanna's relationship. Lisanna and Natsu were best of friends. They were close. After Lisanna's death and resurrection their relationship wasn't the same. Some whom was close to her weren't as close as they used to be.

In the same way, Lucy died and everyone became more distant and weren't as close as they used to be.

"Here we go." the young sky dragon slayer spoke with satisfaction. She had quickly finished up her search for certain sweets and even went through other sections to find a few other items needed.

As she made her way to the second frozen section she smiled brightly, "I wonder how I'm going to do this..."

She wasn't sure on how to go about this new information. Natsu might've been keeping something from Fairy Tail. She needed to know.
