One Kiss | My One and Only Best Friend

You up, babes??

CHARLOTTE looked down at her phone at a text message from her best friend, Becky Lynch. A smile grew on her face. But soon, a confused face was replaced. It was almost one in the morning. Why was Becky awake? Better question, why was she awake.

Yeah..What's up?

A couple seconds later, Becky responded back:

Can't sleep...

Charlotte chuckled to herself as she noticed the three dots at the bottom left corner of her phone, signaling that Becky was typing.

Facetime??

Charlotte closed the message tab and opened the Contacts app. She scrolled down to Becky's name and pressed it, then pressing the 'FaceTime' button.

The phone rang for about ten seconds before showing the words 'connecting', and soon, Becky was on the screen of Charlotte's phone.

"I was wondering where you went," Becky said. Charlotte smiled. "It's 1 AM. Why are you up?" Charlotte asked. "I told you. I can't sleep," Becky said. "Why are you up?" Charlotte scoffed. "It's kind of hard to sleep while your boob hurts," she says as Becky laughs.

"It's not funny, Becks," she whines. "They really hurt," Charlotte says. "And what am I supposed to do?" Becky responded. "You're a bitch," Charlotte frowns. Becky continues to laugh. "So I've been told."

"But, I miss you," Becky says. "It feels so different without you on the road with me," Becky says. "I know. I have about three more checkups before I'll be able to go back on the road," Charlotte explains. "Please hurry," Becky whines. "Naomi and I miss the shit out of you." "She ain't wrong, sis,"  Charlotte hears. "Are you guys rooming together?" She laughs. "Sadly," Becky sighs. "Wow, thanks, Becks," Charlotte hears Naomi say.

"We need to do something before I come back," Charlotte says. Becky nods. "Let's go to the beach," she suggests. "After surgery?" Charlotte sharply inhales. "Well, not right now," Becky clarifies. "Maybe when you're about to come back."

Charlotte nods. "Yeah, I like that idea," she smiles. "Well, I'm going to leave you because you have work," she says. Becky groans. "Yeah, you're right," she says. "I'll be there soon, Becks," Charlotte comforts.

Becky smiles. "I know. I love you," she says. Charlotte smiles back. "I love you too."
