The taste is intoxicating, you've got me chained to you, I can not escape. Oh how you toy with me, making me beg, starving me til the very last moment, for your own satisfaction.
A lone cloud drifted over the moon, it hid the moon's light for a few minutes before releasing the moon's shine across the land. A slight breeze blew a handful of leaves over the trees, grass, and sleeping flowers. The playful breeze dropped the leaves and rustled through the still attached leaves of a tree, upon one tree sat a young man, his dark raven hair blew in the direction the breeze was going. His hair caressed and kissed his face lightly, his eyes were a very dark brown, at night they almost seemed fully black. His jaw was set as his mouth was slightly agape, he breathed out into the crisp fall night. His breath turned into white mist, it floated with the breeze, seemingly enjoying it.
The young man smiled very slightly, his hair continued flowing with the breeze, wanting to get lost with it and never return. The man sighed and turned to look into the breeze, he sniffed the air, scenting a faint sweetness with it, his smile grew wider. The man slid off the branch and fell to the ground, landing on his feet, he reached up to grab his coat which hung from a nearby branch, slipped it on and turned towards the breeze, he began following the sweet scent.
Within a small part of the woods, resided a very sparkly lake, the fish there were plenty, the scenary very serene, the feel was neither smothered nor too open. Here a small boy laid, his limbs sprawled out, he had been climbing a tree when a branch snapped from underneath him, causing him to fall to the ground, during his descent he had cut his side badly, when he hit the ground, he was knocked unconcious.
The young man followed the scent to a small area, here he noticed a nice lake, he kneels down and dips his hand into the water's surface, cups some and pulls his hand out to sip some.
He smiled and sighed. "Ah~Such a refreshing taste."
He sniffed the air again for the sweet scent, gazing around he sees the source, making his way over to source he sees it belongs to a small boy. Kneeling down he checks the boys' vitals. He places two fingers on the boys' neck to feel for a pulse, his heart beats, which is good. The man looks at the boy's body to see he's broken a few bones.
"Tsk tsk" the young man says. Then he rightens the boy's limbs, before carefully picking him up, he carries the boy to a hospital, there he lays the boy down where he may be seen by the workers. Then he stands behind a light pole, watching them. All the while he looks at his hand to see the boy's blood on his fingers, he licks them and a shiver fills his body.
He stumbles and holds onto the light pole for balance, the blood wasn't just sweet, it was a rarity, one so fine that any creature who devoured blood would want. The young man smirked, and mumbled to himself.
"My my my. What a treasure I have found. Can't wait to taste you again lil boy."
The young man walked off while licking his fingers clean, each time he did so a tingle would fill his body.
A few years later...
The boy wandered his house bored, he wasn't allowed to leave his room today. Sighing he plopped onto his bed, his hands behind his head he gazes up at his celing. He let his mind wander as he listened to his parents' footsteps across the floorboards, yawning the boy sat up, he stared at his door, waiting for it to open.
