My Ex.

Chapter 1

"So how are you and Garrett?" Sarah asked me as we sat on my bed.

"Fine. I heard him tell someone that he wants to get me something" I told her.

"That's so cool. What if he wants to get married" she asked. She seemed happy but then she seemed worried.

"I don't want to get married to him. It could just be a promise ring" I told her. I'm not gonna worry about it.

"Alright well I'm going to bed. Goodnight" she said as she layed down.

"Goodnight" i said as we layed down.

"Julie, get up!" I heard someone yell.

"Okay I'm coming" I said and went to the bathroom.

I took a quick shower and put my faded skinny jeans and a purple tank top. I walked downstairs and went into the kitchen.

"Smells good" I told my mom as I saw she was making pancakes and bacon.

I walked into the dining room and sat at the table. My big brother John came down and sat across from me. 10 minutes later my mom gave me a plate of food and Sarah sat next to me at the table.

My mom came down with my little sister Mary. They sat down and everyone ate breakfast then Sarah and I left. We went to the mall so we could get some new shirts. Prom was also coming up so we need to look at dresses.

"What's it like to live with John" Sarah asked me as we walked into Claire's.

"Gross. He's a boy so the bathroom is gross and he always has his friends over." I told her. I don't know why she asked me about him.

"Oh. Well maybe when he gets a girlfriend and moves out it would be better" she said.

"I don't think so but whatever. Why, do you like him?" I asked her.

"I'm not sure. I know I have a boyfriend and all it's just that I think I'm starting to like him" she got quiet at the end.

"Well, I hope the best for you." I told her. I didn't know what else to say.

"Thanks. Wanna get a smoothie" Sarah asked.

"Sure."

We walked into the smoothie place and ordered then walked to body factory.

"I want to find a dress" Sarah whined.

"It's doesn't need to be right now" I told her.

"It actually needs to be very soon. We only have a week til prom and school gets out for summer the week after." She said.

"Whatever" I said. I don't really worry about all that.

"We should go to cuffs tonight. We could each get a dress from here to go" Sarah suggested.

"Sure" I found a navy blue dress. It fit perfect to my curves and was a few inches above my knees.

"I found mine" Sarah yelled running up to me. It was pink and had sparkles. It only had one sleeve.

"I found mine too" I said holding it up so she could see it.

"It's pretty" she said.

"Yours is gorgeous" I told her.
