Sweden.
What I think about Sweden? Freezing. Tropical kid like me isn't destined to live in such country like this if it wasn't for my brother in law's offer about a good job with great salary, I won't be here.Sorry about being grumpy. Everyone calls me by the name Ami, although my real name isn't Ami. It's just a name my mother loves so much (she loved an opera show entitled 'Ami). My real name is actually Maliessi. I'm twenty one, with shoulder length brown hair and brown skin. Looks contrast every time I walk on the snow. My weird sister, Levitasha, and her weird husband, Gunther, used to live here. They both working in a music company in America. I was graduated and looking for a job when Gunther and Levitasha went to my hometown to visit our family, and Gunther offered me a job, being an assistant to American music producer with great salary and an opportunity to travel around the world.
"Right now the musician stays in Sweden for months or years, producing album for Swedish DJ. Its great there, Ami!" said Gunther. I know nothing about Sweden, but what I know is the opportunity to travel around the world is something I won't miss. And everyone knows how passionate I am about music.
So here I am, staying in Kungshollmen, on a simple flat thanks to Gunther. He owned one for investment, he said. I already signed up my name online to the music company ever since the day I hired as the assistant. My future boss wants to see me today, so I packed up few things this morning and here I am, on the music company branch's building.
"Halo, I'm Maliessi Connata, new employee? I was wondering where I can find Third Recording Chamber?" I'm asking the only security there that is reading his paper seriously. No one stays in the receptionist, that's why the security is my only help.
"Third floor. Third Recording Chamber is the largest and most closed on the floor" answered him while looking at my appearance. I smiled after a quick "Thank you!" I ran to the elevator and pressed number three.
Once I'm on the third floor, I found the Third Recording Chamber, right on the corner, the largest and the closed one on the floor. I was wondering what's going on inside the room-since the window isn't visible from the outside-when a beautiful blond girl opened the door and smiling at me.
"Connata?" ask her. I smile.
"Ya, I'm Maliessi Connata" I answered, followed by her smile and her hand gestures to let me in.
"Come on in, dear, you are expected" she continued, so then I followed her inside. Inside this room, I see couple of males and females sitting around on the corner concentrating on the paper they're holding. The blond told me to sit and wait for the boss as she sits with the other group on the other corner. I was reading some brochures when this beautiful man comes in and say hi to everyone. He called me with his loud, deep, voice.
"Hello, you must be Maliessi Connata" he shakes my hand, and I-still looking at him!-smile. He let me back to my chair and he sits right beside me. This guy is charming, I thought to myself.
"I'll be your boss, but don't worry; I'm not as hard as any other bosses out there "he said, make me smile awkwardly this time. I smile a lot, I can't resist him, I said to myself silently. "My name is Wesley Pentz, but you can call me Wes. I make music under the name Diplo, but still, you can call me Wes" I nod.
"Gunther told me about you and your passion, that's why I think you are the perfect person for this job. You'll spend most of your time working with me, but as I said earlier, I'm not as hard as any other bosses out there" said Wes and he winks at me. I chuckles. He raises one eyebrow at me.
"You're not talking much?" ask him. I startled.
"Oh sorry sir, I talk when my opinion is needed or if there is something I need to say. So far, I understand your explanation, and have no further question" I said, trying to explain my silent.
