Maya pov
When we heard that gun me and donevin turned around to see mckayla falling to the ground donevin ran and picked her up and ran out the door.

I turned around fast and almost gave my self whiplash but anyway I turned around and shot the dude in the head and started running to the car where I seen donevin put mckayla in the car. I jumped in the back with mckayla and we left heading to the hospital.

Donevin pov
When mckayla closed her eyes I started panicking I quickly put her in the car and got in. As soon as I closed the door maya got in the back with mckayla and I sped off to the hospital.

I was going 100 all the way dare till maya said sum that made me slow down alittle but still speeding.

Maya: slow down you want to make it to the hospital in one piece don't u.

I listened and we got there in like 10 mins.  We got there I picked mckayla up and rushed her in.

Me: AYE WE NEED HELP Quick

Yelled and a whole squad of people rushed to us and put her on a gurney and rolled her I quickly followed but got stopped by a nurse.

Nurse: I'm sorry sir but u can't go in there right now.

Me: no please I want to be there in there with her.

Nurse: I'm sorry sir but u can't right
now sir just please sit in the waiting room and just relax we have this under control sir.

Me: ok

I sit down a wait patiently and nervously. I couldn't stay still I kept fidgeting but then I put my head down on my lap until I felt someone's hand on my back I looked up it was maya.

Maya: it's going to be ok u no mckayla she not a quitter she won't give up before u no it she will be in our  arms healthy and strong.

She says wiping a tear that I didn't no fell.

Me: thanks maya but I'm just scared tho.

Maya: Ik me and u both.

She said and we stayed there and talked for hours till a doctor came.

Doctor: family of mckayla cater

Me and maya stands up.

Doctor: well we took the bullet out and closed the wound and gave her fluid.

Maya: ok that's good can we go see her now.

Doctor: well there's more.

Me: well and that is.

Doctor: well she's in a coma right now and we don't no when she'll wake.

When he said that i thought bout breaking down but I had to be strong for her.

Doctor: u can go she her if would like.

Me and maya: yes please

Doctor: right this way

We followed him to her room. We got to her room and the doctor open the up for us. We walked in and as soon as I seen her I just broke down

After a while I started talking to her.

Me: mckayla ur the love of my life ur the rain to my drought ur the sunshine to my darkness idk wuh I'll do without u I'll probably go crazy but that doesn't matter right now tho wuh does matter is that u come back to me baby. Swear if u do comer back to me I'll never leave ur side I'll always treat u like a queen like u deserve to be treated. But baby please please I'm begging u don't leave me please.

I kissed her lips and put my head on her bed while letting the tears flow.
