'Sally no! come back!" i shouted as Sally ran out of the house we live in with a few other creepypasta's. She didn't stop running and disappeared in the woods. 'Shit, Smile, i'll go after her. I'm almost sure she's going to the mansion again' i said to smile who was just relaxing on the couch. Quick i ran into the woods just as sally did and after 15 minutes of running the old, almost burned down creepypasta mansion was in sight. Sally was in front of the abandoned mansion, just looking at the sad vestiges of it. 'Sally!' i shouted panting from all the running. startled she looked at me and swiftly entered the mansion. It could be dangerous in there for many reasons so i entered as well. I see Sally running up the heavily damaged stairs. One of the steps snapped and sally let out a cold scream. She managed to grab another step. 'Sally, hold on' i shouted. Quickly i ran towards her. 'I can't hold it anymore' she shouted back in panic. As she let go screaming i was underneath her to catch her. I held her tightly as i whispered 'please, don't ever do something like this again. It's way to dangerous'. Sally started sniffling and buried her head in my neck. 'I-i know but i want S-slendy a-and Masky and Hoodie and J-Jeff and Jane..' she couldn't finish what she wanted to say and started crying heart breaking. 'and the o-others... to come back' she ended her line wheezy. 'Shh Sally. i'm sorry but they can't. Some of them died in the fire Zalgo induced. Slendy tried to stop him but...failed'. I fell to my knees remembering that one day.

~Flashback~

Sally and smile were at my home for a sleepover. Sally loved to come over and this was the first time she slept here. Slendy also wanted Smile to be with her for protection. 'I've won' Sally screamed as she jumped of the chair with her hands in the air. We've played a game called "killer bunny" and Sally was very good in it. I sighed smiling 'You're so good at this game Sal, this is the third time you've won'. It was quiet in the house but the silence broke when a crash came from the living room. smile, who was sleeping on the couch, started barking. I jumped up from my chair and jogged to the living room to find BEN coughing on the ground. Smile stopped barking and leaped of the couch. 'BEN, what are you doing here and why are you covered in ashes?' i asked while i helped the shaking link look alike up and put him on the couch where smile just sat. Sally peeked around the corner and when she saw BEN she ran toward him. 'Hey Benny' she said to the weak elf while she bear hugged him. 'Sally, sweety, not now' i whispered. i softly picked her up and set her on the ground. 'can you get a wet washcloth for me Sally?' i asked the brunette who simply nodded. 'Guys' BEN said and coughed again. 'Zalgo attacked the mansion, He put it on fire a-and slender tried to stop him but he *cough* he failed. Slenderman died in the fight' BEN said looking at the ground. I gasp and before i could respond smile sprinted out the house into the woods. 'w-what about the others' i asked in fear. 'Well, i know that masky and hoodie were trapped in their room. I saw Jeff backing up slender fighting against Z-Zalgo. When i looked out the window before i hopped in my laptop to come here i saw Eyeless Jack running into the woods a-and Toby was just there, sitting in front of the mansion watching it burn. I... really don't know who is alive and who's not' he told shaking his head. Sally gave me the washcloth and i started cleaning BENs face. 'well, i'm glad you're alive ben' i said and gave him a smile. His lips started to thrill and he gave me a hug. 'i'm such a pussy, not much of a hero' he said while a black tear left his eye. 'BEN, it isn't your fault and i think you deserve some rest so take a shower and you can sleep with smile on the couch... if he comes back' BEN stood up and gave me a weak smile. 'Thanks [Y/N]' he said low and leaves the room to take a shower.

Smile didn't came back that night and it was to dangerous to go out looking for him. Sally didn't know what happend yet and was asking the whole time why "Benny" was here and what was going on at the mansion. I said i maybe would tell her the next morning.

_next morning_

i made some breakfast while thinking about yesterday. How could Zalgo do something like this? I know he was bad but that he would go this far. No. BEN was still sleeping on the couch, i'll soon wake him and Sally up for breakfast. I heard a door open and close. 'Sally sweety, do you want to make the table ready' i said assuming it was Sally but when i looked up because she didn't respond, i saw Smile in his human form. ' Smile, you're back! what happend?' you said suprised while you flipped the last pancake on top of the others. i stepped towards Smile who was looking to the ground. 'Jeff... my owner, my lovely owner, he... he died! Zalgo killed my precious owner! I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL KILL HIM, I'LL KILL HIM AND EVERYTHING HE LOVES!!!' Smile screamed while he put his head in his hands. BEN woke up and looked in shock at Smile. I took the crying smile in a hug and stroke his back to calm him down. 'Smile! you're back!' Sally shouted who probably woke up from Smiles screaming. She hugged his foot when she saw he was crying. 'Smile, please don't cry. You're my friend and it makes me sad to see you cry' she said with a frown. I let go of smile who sat down with sally to hug her. BEN, who made the table ready, put the plate with pancakes in the middle. 'guys, we will have to eat cold pancakes if we don't eat now' He reported and everybody sat down to eat. There was no single noise except for our chewing and swallowing. 'ahum... Smile, did you see anything "new" yesterday night?' i asked smile breaking the silence. 'Well, i saw Toby, head-down leaving with Zalgo, probably joining him instead of getting killed' Smile said thinking. I nodded, 'i see'.

~flash over~

'it's already more than a month ago' i silently whispered to myself. Quickly i look behind me when i heard heavy footsteps and an insane laugh. There was Toby, ready to attack us. 'Say goodbye already because this is the end for the both of you' he chuckled and ran towards us with an raised axe. I closed both my eyes tightly while keeping Sally close, not wanting that something might happen to her. After a Few seconds, we still sat there. unharmed. I peeked over my shoulder and saw Smile in his dog form. wrestling with Toby. ' What the fuck, what are you doing you dumb ass piece of crap' Toby yelled angry with Smile on top of him holding him down. This was my chance. I picked Sally up who was still crying and started to run as fast as i could, out of the mansion. '[Y\N], i-i'm scared''it will be okay Sally i'm sure Smile can handle Toby' i said while running back to my house. back to E.J and BEN. [A/n] yes, E.J came back after a day]

As expected Smile came back with only one of his paws hurt, not a big deal. There is one tho.

and that is...
