Hello, my name is Walter Phillips. I'm only five years old and I have been through a lot. Let's just get to the point where I only have my aunt left in my life. I'm on a train that doesn't stop. No one has seen the outer world in many years. Those who have attempted to escape have been caught and executed in front of the rest of the people aboard to teach us a lesson. My aunt has become very ill, but she has stayed strong so she can watch over me. I never knew why the government would choose to keep us locked up in a non-stop train and away from the outer world... well I gotta go the "men" are walking around once again for the ninth time today.

I don't know what time it is, but the train is getting bright then dark repeatedly. The train has been getting faster and faster every single time a person has been caught trying to escape. We all have assigned rooms away from our family. Luckily my aunt is only one room down from mine. That gives me a better chance to be able to check up on her. I'm becoming very suspicious to the "men" and what they are possibly hiding in their bulky suits and dark sunglasses. It's been three years ever since my parents have passed, and all I have that's left of them is a picture of them that I hide underneath my pillow. I feel weird every time the "men" walk around. It's like someone is telling me something. I don't know. I'm just going to get some rest.

I have decided to sneak out of my room when everyone is assigned to sleep. I need to take care of my aunt. She is too ill to even be here, but she is taking the medicine that I had to steal awhile ago. I don't know what I would do without her. Every single night I would pray to God, hoping that he would answer my prayers about my aunt. She isn't at the best state of health, but she's doing good.

I had to see a woman and her kids get their dead bodies thrown into the bunker of the train. I watched many people cry, but I had to look tough. I held it all in. Today I saw a puppy wandering around the hallways, so I quickly took the puppy inside my room. I have decided to name him/her Lucky. Ever since I have found Lucky my aunt has been doing a bit better. She's always happy, and now she doesn't even think about all the negatives. She is still very ill though, which worries me a lot.

Today my aunt died.

I don't know what to do anymore.

She was the last person I had.

Ugh...

The part that angered me the most was that all they did was throw her in the bunker. I remember my aunt telling me about funerals. She always told me how if she ever passed away she would want a funeral.

I have to give her one.

I need to give her one...

Tomorrow I will give my aunt the funeral that she always wanted. I have figured out the schedules for the "men". This gives me the opportunity to sneak into the bunker and place some of the plastic flowers in our rooms right next to her. It's going to be very hard to try and find her body considering all the people who have been thrown in there.

I gave her the funeral the minute I woke up. I figured out that if I wake up earlier than I normally do, then the "men" won't be awake or around the rooms.
