I was stoked that I made it through to the first round. Now all that was left was to perform in front of One Direction and hope for the best.
"Jeanette? This is big for us, you know that right? But I'm scared. What if one of us makes it through and the other doesn't?" Marissa nerves were quite evidently getting the best of her. Her palms were so sweaty and she was shaking.
"Then the boys obviously were too stunned by our beauty and didn't see what pure talent was right in front of them." I said, trying to cheer her up. I wasn't kidding about Marissa's beauty though; she had a long and lean dancers body and blonde hair down to her butt. Her blue eyes and nose and lips were all so delicately placed on her face that she looked like a china doll. I on the other hand don't have much to brag about. I have reddish brown hair (i get it dyed), and brown eyes. I am very short for a dancer and have two things that most dancers don't have; boobs, and piercings. My boobs look a tad out of place on my short frame but in dance I have learned to elongate my body and I try to be as graceful as possible. As for my piercings, there is a nice diamond stud sitting on my nose, a lovely purple bellybutton ring, and 4 piercings on each ear.
As we made our way through the studio doors we were checked by security to make sure we had nothing to harm the boys. No offense to them or anything, but I was here to dance, not to injure five popstars.
"Hello, ladies and gentleman, we'd like to thank all of you for coming here today to show us your stuff! Dance your hearts out, loves!" a boy with brown very curly and big hair said. I felt bad that I was not a humongous fan of theirs and didn't know things about them. I spend all my free time dancing so I wouldn't know much about popular music artists. Although I do know that they are all veeeeery attractive! Stay focused, Jeanette. You are here to dance, not to gawk at five very sexy famous boys who would never give you the time of day! You need to focus on your dancing if you want to land this!
"Okay, my sweets. We're going to audition you all one by one. We will call you in in order of your contestant numbers. Starting with number one! The rest of you can go wait in the hallway and rehearse and such. Good luck!!!" the one who Marissa informed me was Louis said enthusiastically.
Marissa was number 83 and I was number 84, meaning I was the last contestant. Great. I had plenty of time to psych myself out before performing.

"Contestant number 83, YOU'RE UP!!!" the stage manager said tiredly. He was no doubt tired of calling out names by this point. While we were in waiting, Marissa informed me who's who in the band so I don't look as clueless.
"RISS, it's your turn! You can do this. I promise. And don't forget to give 'em your cute little smile!" I gave Marissa a quick hug and watched as she walked into the studio, extremely nervous.
Around 10 minutes later, Marissa walked back out and came over to hug me.
"Jeanette! They all told me I was very lovely and Harry winked at me!" she squealed.
"That's great, Riss, but how was your dancing!?!?" I asked, excited for my friend to have her fangirl moment.
"It was-" she got interrupted by the stage manager who informed us that it was my turn to audition. "You're going to do great, Jeanette. You are the best dancer I know."
I walked confidently into the studio and gave them all a warm smile.
"Hello there, beautiful. What's your name?" exclaimed Harry.
"Hi, boys," I started with a wink, "my name's Jeanette. And you must be those five very lucky boys that have the pleasure of watching me dance today."
"Oh, a tad feisty are we, babe?" Harry said as he chuckled. "I like this girl already."
