With a small nod I agreed, it was beginning to become dark and the only source of light we could have would most likely be a fire. Grace smiled her usual smile, which was usually very sweet and she nodded, she stood up from what she was sitting on and she began to walk off to look for wood, as she walked further the sound of the music she was humming, most likely a tøp song began to sound fainter and fainter because she was walking further and further away.
"shouldn't we go with her?" Skyla asked, worrying over the two of us like she always did.

"If you want to, then sure." I said, to hopefully reassure her.

Skyla nodded and quickly stood up, "Grace, wait a second, we're coming with you." Skyla said, Grace stopped where she was and she turned around,
"You don't have to, you know? I'm honestly fine on my own, if you wanna come though then that's up to you." She said, she smiled again, Grace's smile usually always handed out reassurance.

Skyla sighed deeply and she nodded, I walked over to her, "hey.. don't worry.." I said, in a rather low tone, nodding a bit,
"Yeah, I know I shouldn't worry so much.. It's just you guys are my best friends and to lose you gu-" she couldn't even finish her sentence, she was cut off by another loud twig snapping.

We both flinched and she sighed with relief at the sound of it just being a twig snap, since it was pretty loud and startled us both the smallest bit,
"Are you sure you don't want us to go with you Gra-" I was cut off myself but this time not because of the sudden sound of a twig snapping, it was due to the fact that Grace was no longer there.

we looked ahead where Grace had previously started walking, where was she? Did she really walk that fast? She was gone and I didn't think much of it, she could've just been a fast walker- but that wasn't the reason. I was mainly just saying that to reassure myself. Our camping journey had just began and I didn't want to start panicking already, though Skyla's face had turned completely pale at the sight of an empty road with Grace no longer there, I began to mumble things to myself, places where Grace could currently be or reasons she left so fast but all of my presumptions as to where she was were wrong because it was more than that.
so much more than that.
