There he was, Caelum Young, passing by the front window of the coffee shop I was in. Noticing my eyes following his every step with my feet anticipating movement I decide to pull myself back into reality. There I find my friend Nellie still speaking on the topic she was on when I escaped existence. I decide to tune in to hear what she is upset about this time.

"Yeah so it just pisses me off that I got a detention for simply stating my observation, like wasn't it obvious that the wife of that poor man was having an affair with that guy she met at the market? Wasn't it obvious? No one just hangs out by the banana aisle every Saturday, it's not normal." she spouted while traced her fingers through the pages of the book she spoke about.

I raised my eyebrows in confusion. My head started to hurt by just thinking of how any of that made sense. Just as I was about to give my two cents I hear the familiar sound of bells chiming which usually meant someone was exiting or entering the cafe. As we always do, Nel and I turned our attention towards the door to speculate the costumer. There my heart shot in every different direction. Caelum Young had walked right through the entrance. I instantly reach for the book Nellie had and covered myself. I poked my head out from the top of the book and looked for Caelum Young but all I saw was Nellie's stupid face giving me "the look".

"By the looks of it, Mr. Young must have entered." she whispered as she turned to observe her surroundings then came back to me, "You do this every time are you finally going to talk to him or are you just going to continue your journey of 'let's stalk the new kid'?" she questioned. Without responding I keep my eyes on him. Watching his every move as he coasted around the room waiting for his order. No I've never crossed him before but I have heard so many things about this guy that I had to, and today was the day.

"Caelum?" the barista shouts. And there Caelum Young went to grab his drink and then out the door. As soon as those bells rang I shot up and immediately followed without excusing myself. I was halfway out the door when I felt a tug on my arm.

"What the hell Victoria?" Nellie quipped, "How are you just going to pounce up and leave without saying one word to me? Are you okay? Did he do something to you? Is that why you are obsessed with him?"

I forced my arm out of her grip impatiently, "Nel I'm fine I just have something to take care of. I'll text you later but now I have to go." I yell as I began to jog because I lost sight of him.

She threw her arms at her side angrily as she barked, "I thought we were going to work on the secrets Vic!"

I watched her turn and make her way back into the cafe. Then I turned my full attention to finding Caelum Young. I remember the route he took the most after leaving the cafe so I sprinted towards the hill to my right. I catch a glance of Caelum Young walking inattentive on the sidewalk the hill looked upon. I raced ahead of him and placed myself in the hole I dug for this very occasion, close enough to the edge of the hill so I could still have a perfect view of him. As he eased closer, I leaned forward and positioned myself while reaching for my backpack. He then reached the designated spot and slowly I drew my already loaded gun from my pack. I put my eye through the scope and locked him in my sight.

I steadied my finger, "I got you now, monster." I whispered as I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger.
