Kyouko Kirigiri was known for being a complete mystery. Her backstory, her talent, and even her emotions were hidden, rarely ever shown. Kirigiri was good at keeping things hidden. However, there was one more secret that Kirigiri was hiding. It wasn't quite as serious as some of the other aspects she kept private. The secret in question was the fact that Kirigiri really liked movies.

Today she was going to see a more popular film. "The Fault in Our Stars," to be exact. She had read the world renown book prior to this day, and had been incredibly excited to see a movie representation of one of her favorite books. She walked through the doors of the theatre, and walked up to the counter to purchase her ticket. Everything was going smoothly until she heard a familiar voice coming from behind her.

"Kirigiri? I didn't know you liked movies! What did you come to see?" a peppy, yet pleasant voice asked. It was Sayaka Maizono, one of the most popular girls in her school, who was known for her extraordinary vocal talents. Kirigiri used a cough to cover up the sound of her voice when replying with "The Fault in Our Stars."

"Huh? What's that? I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you," the idol responded.

"The Fault in Our Stars..." Kirigiri mumbled, under her breath.

"How funny, I'm seeing that too! Would you like to sit next to each other?

"Sure, I guess," Kirigiri murmured, acting respectful. Declining the invatation would be rude, right? The two proceeded to buy snacks, and headed to the room that was showing the movie.

The two managed to find some seats in the middle of the theatre. They had arrived rather early, about five minutes prior to when the screening was supposed to begin.

"It looks like we'll have to sit through a good chunk of previews," Maizono whispered. She then took a bite out of her popcorn, chewing it as quietly as possible. Kirigiri sighed. Maybe declining Maizono would have been a better idea.

After waiting for what seemed like years, the movie finally began play. Everyone stared at the screen, awestruck as the various scenes played out, showing the story of Hazel Grace.

"Hey, do you want a tissue? I heard this movie is supposed to be really sad," Maizono mumbled, offering Kirigiri a tissue. Kirigiri declined, assuming she'd be able to handle whatever the movie had prepared for her.

The movie continued, playing out the beautiful heart-wrenching story of Hazel. Everything was fine. Everything was fine until.

Bam.

Augustus Waters was dead.

"W-what?" Kirigiri stuttered, a little bit too loudly.

"Oi, I'm trying to watch this thing, so shut up," and unidentifiable voice snarled at Kirigiri.

But that wasn't it. Soon enough, it was Augustus's funeral.

Hazel Grace began to speak.

Kirigiri couldn't take it. No... It was too much. Too many emotions.

Kirigiri bit her lip, and closed her eyes, but nothing seemed to work.

Kirigiri began to cry.

The one known for being calm was finally letting her true colors show. She cried and cried, a waterfall emerging from her eyes.

Maizono began to sniffle. "I only have this one tissue left, I think you should have it," Maizono murmured.

Kirigiri took the tissue and continued to sob. She didn't think it would be this tragic.

Eventually the movie ended. The credits rolled, and the audience began to walk out of the room. Eventually just Kirigiri and Maizono were left. Kirigiri was still sobbing uncontrollably.

Maizono brought Kirigiri into a long hug. "It'll be ok, it'll be okay," Maizono declared amidst Kirigiri's sobbing. She was still crying like a baby.

"You know, there was one thing my mom would always do when I was feeling down. You'll probably call me a freak, you may erupt in laughter. Laughter is a really good medicine, right?"

Maizono pulled Kirigiri's head down, the then closed her eyes and slowly leaned closer to her, and finally kissed her on the forehead.

"Do you feel any better?" The idol asked, smiling.

"Yeah, I feel a lot better," Kirigiri replied, hugging the idol tightly.
