Summertime came around quicker then ever before. The spring flowers whisped away by the warm air of the season. The sky blue and calm. However, One boy in particular dreaded summer. Armin Arlert hated summers, summers meant work for his family's small hotel. Not wanting to be part of the bellhops and the cleaning ladies, Armin decided upon becoming the one and only lifegaurd. His job, though simple, was boring and tiresome. Sitting on a tall chair, on occasion telling a kid to stop running or not to dive in to the pool.

He watched the people play, cooling off in the refreshing water. His dad told him, unless there was someone in danger, he was to not go in to the pool at all. He sighed moving his sight back to the brown book perched on his lap. It wasn't long before he was interuppted once more by a young kid running around. They seemed to be unable to behave themselves for even a matter of seconds. Armin put down the book, and stared at the pool. The water moving ever so slowly, this was actually kind of relaxing to him. It was the only time he found serenity in the chaotic place we called a hotel.

A few hours later, most people had left the pool because of how cold it got towards the end of the night. Armin almost packed up, everyone had left the pool so there was no need for his job. That was until a boy walked into the gate. The boy had brunette hair, the hair not really styled in a way but more so messy. His eyes were almost hypnotic, they shined like emeralds if he had ever seen one. He stood tall, not much taller then Armin but it was noticable.

"Don't cha' think that this is a bad time for swimming?" Armin questioned the boy's odd decision.

"Nope! Perfect time for swimming, no one is here." Eren replied his voice familiar to Armin but yet so different.

"Alrighty then, swim away." Armin sighed sitting back on his white lifegaurd chair.

Eren stared at Armin, his gaze never leaving the blonde's gentle face. Eren and Armin had once been friends before Eren's family moved away. They had recently moved back to the town and had thought it would be fun to spend our summer here. Eren remained staring, that is until a perfect idea formed in his head.

"Help! I'm drowning! Help!" The brunette exclaimed pretending as though the water was dragging him under.

"Motherfucker." Armin whispered under his breath before diving straight in to the pool below. He grabbed the brunette boy to the edge of the boy, lying him on the coarse floor.

"I need mouth to mouth." Eren whispered, acting as if his voice was hoarse.

Armin went down planting his lips on his, blowing air into his chest. He came back up, pressed on his bare chest, then blew more air into his mouth. He repeated this until finally Eren returned the kiss.

"Oh my god!" Armin screamed shocked by the sudden intimacy Eren was displaying.

"What? I was just repaying you for saving me." Eren questioned his lip quivering in an attempt to get Armin's sympathy.

"Ugh. Look, uhm, I-" Armin said turning away to hide his red cheeks. "I liked it." He mumbled finally.

"Then let's do it again." Eren whispered in his ear.

"Anything for you, Eren." Armin whispered back.

"Y-you knew it was me?" Eren gasped.

"Of course I did you dork, you are the only one who is that good at kissing." Armin giggled planting his lips on Eren's.

"I hope you save me again sometime."
