This story is before Dean and Cas are an official couple. This is before Dean even comes out, although Sam and Cas already know he's gay. If you read the last part of this, thank you for reading. Bye xxxx johnlockruinedme. P.S: This chapter has some innuendos so if you don't want to read that, go away. P.P.S: I can't believe I named something Surprise! I'm gay!
Dean was sitting alone in his room thinking about Castiel with his head in his hands. He adored him. From a distance, of course. Dean couldn't come out. Sammy might not accept him. Cas may not like him anymore. Without thinking, Dean whispered 'Castiel'. He loved the way Cas' name rolled off his tongue. Dean felt a hand rest on his shoulder and jumped. He had forgotten angels could do that.
"What is it Dean?"
"Oh, uh, nothing. I, uh, saw a tie and I, uh, thought of you."
"Oh. Where did you see the tie? I think I lost one."
Dean wasn't prepared for that one. Dean wasn't prepared for Cas at all (*eyebrow wiggle from the author*) "It's, um, it's, in the closet." (Like Dean).
"Okay."
He looked in the closet.
"It's not in there, Dean"
"I must have just imagined it then." He let out a nervous chuckle.
"Dean, tell me what's wrong."
Cas sat down on the bed next to him. Dean sighed. He wasn't sure if he should tell him.
"What is it Dean?"
"I-I-I'm ga-" Dean was cut off with Castiel's lips crashing to his. He was shocked for a moment. Cas pulled back and turned as red as a tomato. He looked as though he were about to cry.
"I'm so sorry." Cas jumped up and walked to the other half of the room.
"It's okay Cas."
"No it's not."
"Cas, just listen to me. I'm gay Cas. I've been in love with you since I first saw you. I love you Castiel." Dean was already in front of the angel. Cas looked up. Dean took a deep breath, leaned in, and kissed him. Dean pulled back.
"I love you Dean."
"I love you too." They hugged and walked out of the room. Sam was back. His mouth was open. Dean hung his head so he wouldn't have to look at his brother. Sam walked over to Cas. Cas stuck out his hand like he wanted money. Sam pulled out his wallet and gave Castiel five dollars (A/N: I don't know why an angel needs money but I needed a funny ending.)
"Sam, why did you give him money?"
"We had a bet. If you came out by dating Cas, I gave Cas five dollars. If you came out with anyone else, Cas gave me five dollars."
"You knew I was gay?"
"It was obvious Dean."
"Oh."
"Well I'm going out for a while." Sam winked at Cas.
"Saaaaaaaaaaaam you're embarrasing me." Dean whined.
"Good." Sam said before walking out.
