Chaz's p.o.v

I got let out the hospital a few weeks ago, everything is good part from I still need to use crutches.

Today I'm going to the lake with Ellie and all our friends, I can't wait I feel like I haven't seen them in forever.

I was wearing only wearing swimming shorts and chucks and of course a SnapBack. I was sitting in mom's livingroom watching t.v and waiting for mom to drop me off at the lake.

"Chaz". I turned my head and saw Phil standing, urgh I still can't believe that mom is marrying him.

"What?". I asked annoyed. He raised his eyebrows and me and clicked his tongue.

"Watch it". He said pointing his finger at me. I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"I'm taking you to the lake". He said grabbing his car keys.

"Uh, mom is taking me". I said looking back at him.

"She's busy trying to find stuff for the wedding". Ew cringe.

"Mom!". I whined loudly.

I saw her coming down the stairs holding her MacBook, she walked into the living room and stood next to Phil.

"What sweetie?". She said still looking at her MacBook.

"You said you would take me to the lake today". I said.

"Sorry C, I'm really busy. That's why Phil is gonna take you". She said.

I was just about to argue before she spoke again.

"And I don't want to hear anything about it, now March to his car now mister". Mom said pointing.

I stood up and slipped my crutches on.

"I can't march, I hop". I laughed and quickly hopped past her to the first door.

"Please be careful Chaz, and don't go to deep". I heard before entering Phil's car.

The ride to the lake was so awkward, we didn't talk, god I would love to just punch him right in the face, dick.

We arrived at the lake and un buckled myself and hopped out the car.

"Text me on when I need to pick you up Chaz". He smiled.

"Okay, bye". I fake smiled and slammed his door.

I hopped over to the lake and saw everyone there.

"CHAZ". Conrad screamed and ran over to me. I laughed.

"Calm down". I said as I looked to the lake. I saw a couple of Ellie's friends here, Kullen and Jason in the lake.

"Where's ellie?". I asked looking for her.

"Aw, she's on the tree swing over there, look!". He pointed Ellie getting ready to swing.

I burst out laughing watching her scream as she only went a couple of feet into the air.

I took off my chucks and set my crutches down and walked to the edge of the lake with Conrad.

"Chaz!". Ellie called as I saw her jogging down from the other edge of the lake, soaking wet.

Conrad smirked at me then ran into the lake, he is so weird.

She stopped in front of me and opened her arms.

"No way am I hugging you, your soaking". I laughed. She quickly pouted and I gave in.

"Fine". I playfully rolled my eyes and let her run into my arms.
