Vorigan Grimm from the Grimoirie Coven, a noble family of Vanthesia, conspirated with some members of the Imperial Council and organized a coup, taking control of the Council and all the power it commanded. He murdered Zephyr Valenti and declared himself Emperor over all of Aria, dissolving the six kingdoms into the Imperial territories of the United Empire of Aria.
