Manaka Laala, a soon to be Idol, is a regular sixth grader with her best friend Yumekawa Yui.
There are two ways to get in PriPara Idol Academy :
1.) You apply, but the acceptance is extremely low so there's probably no chance.
2.) You get spotted...
"Yes. Do you need me to repeat?" Not getting a response, he continued. "Do you know what and who a Kami Idol is?"
"I-I do! A Kami Idol is the highest rank, right?"
"That is.. Correct, I suppose." He said with a pause.
"Suppose? Anyway! The Saints are Kami Idols! I love them!"
"Ahem!" Meganii looked at the girls. "As I was saying," he shoots Yui a glare, making the girl step behind Laala. "Everyone has a goal and it's mostly the same goal: To be a Kami Idol."
He sighs.
"But I'm going to be honest about something. Since you have the most potential." He said, whispering the last sentence.
"What is it?" Yui asked "Yeah. You can tell us. We won't tell anyone!" Laala reassured.
"Just don't tell anyone, in fact it might not be true." He sighs for the millionth time today. "Well.." He started.
"What if I told you there was a Rank above Kami Idols?"
》Time Skipuuu《
That couldn't be true! Yui couldn't believe it. There was no way!
Currently Yui and Laala were in their dorm room. Yui was lying on her bed with her back while Laala was sitting at her table, drawing new coords Yui guessed.
Laala didn't think much of the rank. She had that feeling something like that might've existed. She didn't know where the feeling came from, but she knew there HAS to be another rank.
Greater than all the ranks, greater than Kami Idol. Laala drew some coords, she was doing one that looked like it was fit for a goddess. She looked at it and sighed.
"Hey Laala. Do you think there actually is rank higher than Kami Idol?" Yui stared at the ceiling.
"Well, it's possible. Maybe no one has gotten it yet." Laala stopped drawing to turn to Yui. "Maybe even the Kami Idols are trying to figure that out."
"Hmm.." Yui closed her eyes.
"Yui. Don't think too much into it. Besides, we're still trainees." She paused before continuing. "I don't know how, but I know there's rank above Kami Idol. Even if no one's or has it, I know there has to be one.."
Laala stopped talking when she heard the soft snores coming from Yui. She looked back at her drawing.
It actually didn't look half bad. It looked like a professional drew it and made it. It was cute but elegant at the same time.
For a few seconds she wondered how she came up with this but brushed it off when she yawned.
She'll just talk to Yui in the morning she guessed.
》In The Morning《
Laala woke up rather tired looking. Even though she slept, she had this dream.
"Laala." Yui called out. "You look really tired, when did you sleep?"
"Huh? Oh." Laala yawned before continuing. "I slept not to long after you fell asleep."
Yui nodded. "Oh that reminds me." Laala thought for a moment. "Last night we were talking. I was saying that there has to be one since.."
"Since..?"
"Since.. I don't know." Laala turned to Yui. "Is it weird I have this feeling there is another rank?"
"Not at all."
"Hmm.. Okay. Let's get going to class." Laala walked out of the dorm with Yui right behind her.
They went to a beginner idol class where they learned the basics of being an idol. Then they went to a coord studio where they learned to make coords, draw dresses or skirts, and whatnot.
After that was a song class where they practice singing with either one person at a time (solo), two singing a song together (duet), three people singing together (unit), or even practice singing and getting your vocals correct with a partner. Of course Yui and Laala chose each other as partners.
When they were done with today's classes, they were worn out and almost passed out on the bed, if not their bed then the couch.
"..why is being an idol so yume-tiring.."
"You said it." Laala quickly sat up from lying on the couch. Yui saw her sit up and questions, "Laala, aren't you tired?"
Yui squinted her eyes at the other girl in the room. Yui froze, her eyes widening.
"..Laala?"

Laala: Wait, Yui, are you actually asleep? Laala: Yui, wake up!
Yui: 5 more yume-minutes..
Laala: We didn't finish our ending scene yet! Wake up!!
Yui: FINE! Yui: I'm up.
Laala: Good now let's just finish this chapter up and we can sleep all we want after..
Yui: //starts screeching//
Laala: Iflbskdiwndd YUI!
Yui: I'm awake.
Laala: ...
Author: Uhh.. Author: You two do realized that I uhh caught that, right?
Laala & Yui: WAIT WHAT?!
Author: Uhh pshhh what Author: We're starting in 321. Go! I mean action!
