A presence reveals its presence. The maidens whiskers twitch over the uneasiness that some one is following her as her new shadow; a sweet scent tickled her nose, it's intense sweetness flood her body, a manic feeling filled her body. She stopped. This scent was not hers.
What does this mean? Am I being followed ?! she thought,
She quickens her pace but the shadow stays close to her back. The air became thin; her fur tickles the air rising higher as if trying to escape the maiden's body, slight crunch of tiny leaves tickled her ears causing them to twitch vividly, the sound traveled through them straight to her heart, a drum pounding to a rhythm of her fear bursting inside of her.
There's no doubt! I'm being followed! I may no longer be safe here...I'm a sitting duck I need to leave the path-
A flash of a arrow flies past her just missing her head. Heart racing, her mind racing the maidens instant reaction was to run immediately. Sharp and steady her eyes glanced side to side, guarding her from her surroundings from the shadow, that instantly disappeared even her sweet scent left the maiden's body there was no sign of a it's presence.
Ricocheting off the silver grey stones arrows launched for the maidens back, the by standing trees hit in the meantime their honey sap leaked from the arrow's teeth.
Before her a trap hidden by the sea of sun yellow and fiery red leaves, despite this her guards catch its gaze, she instantly changes speed hoping she'll give her self enough to jump over as the  size and depth of the "trap" was unknown and without time to check she had to think fast.
Pushing her self closer to the ground she readied her self to jump, then like a bird her legs as her wings lifts her off the ground into the air high enough to over jump the mouth of the trap.
Landing harsh her body flips across the floor until the floor allows her to stop.
Shaken and tired she lifts her self up but a sharp pain in her Calf's screamed.
Finally standing and steady the maiden turns away and begins to walk forward down the path.
"Halt!" A voice ordered from the blue mist, it was defiantly a woman but it was harsh, deeply firm the maidens spin crawled. The voice laid dorment through the trees far enough to hear but not close enough to see.
"Who are you?" Asked the maiden
"Why should I answer you fox!?" Replied the voice firmly
" look I'm not looking for trouble!" The maiden pleaded.
Don't tell me I'm being attacked because I'm a fox is it ?! Isn't that foxist?!, whilst contemplating she felt greatly offended if that was the case
" why don't you show your self we can talk this out ?" The maiden plead again praying for mercy
"Very well fox but only if you put your hands in the air!" The voice yelled back
Obaying the strangers orders the maiden raises her arms, never has she felt so vulnerable but she was glad to be given a chance to explain things to what may be a misunderstanding.
Yet again the maiden's whiskers shuddered the shadow must've approached close though in steadily slow pace, the maiden felt the tenets of the shadow taking gentle cautious steps, she felt the leaves crumble under its feet.
The maiden turns steadily around to see her attacker. Her eyes flowed if the beauty that was delicately hidden
The figure became even more clearer, until her beauty was so clear it shone
Whaoooo~
