"Cass open the door already!" I laughed slamming my fist against the sturdy wood. "Not until you tell me who you like!" Cassidy giggled from the other side, holding the door shut. I'm extremely weak, so I didn't even try to pry the door open. "I don't like anyone! Especially you right now." I laughed, still knocking on the door. Cassidy moved out of the way of the door and groaned. "Fine. You win. Want to go to Chris' party tonight?" She asked as I opened the door. "I guess so. Nothing better to do anyways." I jumped onto my bed, landing face first into the comforter. "You're already good to go, so let me get dressed then we can leave." Cass dug around in her suitcase to find a dress. I looked out my window, noticing a man walking to my porch when the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs, opening the door to a smiling man. It was relatively dark out, but bright enough that I could see his face properly. "Ah, hello! My car just broke down, and I was wondering if your parents were home to help?" He continued smiling, gesturing to his car that was sitting farther down the road. "My parents aren't home right now, but I'm sure I could help." I smiled then ran inside to grab my keys, coming back outside to find him walking towards his car. I got into mine and drove it in front of his, parking close. "Thank you so much! I appreciate it!" His smile was creepier in the dark, and so was he. I stepped in front of my car to open the hood, and the next thing I remember was my head being slammed into it. I didn't pass out from it, but I was stunned. I tried to stand up straight, but the man shoved me onto the ground and put his knee on my neck. I found it hard to breath, and tried to kick him off. He didn't act phased, and responded by striking at my head, causing me to black out between the sudden pressure and the lack of breath. Even though I was unconscious, I felt my body lift up, and placed into his car. He grabbed the keys from out of my car, parked it back in my house, and went to take the keys back inside. Cassidy was at the steps, staring dead at the man, and in fear he kept the keys and ran.
I woke up a few hours later in a car that was much bigger than the one I saw earlier. My legs and wrists were tied together, making it difficult to move. My eyes were covered by an old rag, and I could just barely see out of the bottom of them. I checked around the floor, seeing a small pocket knife. I wasn't able to grab it, since it was a bit far and I couldn't move my hands. The man pulled the car to a stop, and removed the key. His door opened, then there was soft shuffling, and the back door opened loudly. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I felt a tug at my legs, then felt my wrists and ankles free. I didn't want to try anything, seeing that I was still exhausted from being knocked out. The man guided me towards who knows where, and I started crying after believing this was where I was going to die. Instead of stepping into a ditch, I stepped up onto a cement stair. He directed me up the next step, before reaching for his keys. Out of the opening of the rag I saw his hand covered with a black glove, and a suit sleeve. I tried to listen to my surrounding to figure out if there was a street nearby, but it was dead silence aside from the jingling of his keys. There was a soft screeching noise, then I was led through the door. When he removed the blind, I expected to see cement walls, but instead it was a well decorated room with baby blue walls. I kept track of everything, the amount of stairs I stepped up, which was he directed me, and even his scent. I turned to look at the man, but you couldn't see an inch of skin or hair. He wore a white mask, and a suit with gloves, high socks, and a random black hood. Once he spoke, I was ready to melt down into tears. "Welcome to your new room Adeline. Mother should have dinner finished shortly, clean up, quickly now." He said calmly, gesturing to a dresser and a door when he mentioned cleaning up. He exited the room, and that's when I noticed the cameras in every corner. There were even some clearly hidden in objects, such as the clock and calendar. I didn't want to waste any time, because I was unsure of his intentions. I opened the drawer to see bout five of the exact same dress, and then a white version. I took one out, and sure enough, it was my size. There had even been underclothes in my size, which scared me even more. I walked into the bathroom, where I hadn't seen any cameras, then I changed. I looked in the mirror, which I was surprised by because of the fact it was glass. I heard the door open in the room, and I completely flipped out. There wasn't a lock on the door, and there was nothing to fend myself with, so when the door opened to reveal a red head woman, I didn't do anything but stare. She didn't give off a creepy vibe, but it was obvious she was not right. "Stand up straight please, I need to adjust a few things." She spoke sternly yet mother like. I was unsure if she was married to the man, or if she was forced to do this. "Please let me out, I don't like it here." I cried while hugging her, trying to her a reaction out of her. I felt her arms around my head and back, scaring me more than the man. She was being sympathetic, and it made it very clear she wanted out as well. "Adeline, please hold up your arms and turn around." The woman practically choked on her words, watching as I spun around and listened. She moved around some of the pieces, then stepped back. "Father wants you downstairs in the dining room at six o'clock sharp. If you're a minute late, he will take you to the back room. Do not go against his word Adeline, for both of our sakes." She said quietly, then leaving before I could ask questions. It still hadn't hit me yet that I was kidnapped, but I was positive it was going to be difficult.
