You chose to help the people.

Used: debris, their weapons

You took a deep breath and decided to stay. You couldn't just leave them there, it's not like they asked to be trapped by those things.

You noticed some loose debris from the place you were hiding. Picking up a broken rock, you steadied yourself in order to throw it.

You made sure it was clear, and threw the rock as far as you could, quickly ducking back down to the debris. You heard it slam against something, probably breaking it.

After a few seconds, you peeked over your hiding spot. Two of the dead started shuffling towards the sound, while the other three stayed behind, still trying to break the door.

Normally, you woukd be able to kill three of them with ease. If they weren't so close together, they'd already be dead.

You noticed one of their bats just laying on the ground. It had nails sticking out every which way and was covered in blood. You're pretty sure there was some meat still stuck on them as well.

You slowly made your way to the bat, trying to be as quiet as possible. Once you picked it up and got a grip . . .

BOOM

You crushed one of their heads. You heard the skull crack and crumble under the blow, spewing rotten flesh and blood all over the others. Just as they were turning around, you hit one and then the other. Three dead out of five.

You hit the bat slightly into the air to get some of the blood and brains off. The other two zombies had already made their way over, but they were much easier to kill than you expected. They must have been dead for a long time.

Shortly after, you heard the people inside moving things around. They both slowly walked out of the store, looking in every direction. Eventually their eyes landed on you.

Both of them were extremely tall and wore ripped flannels. Their jeans and shoes looked dirty and worn, but so did yours.

"Thank you." The tallest of the two said. He had a kinder look in his eyes, but it was probably because of the hair. It fell to his shoulders, and framed his face.

"Wheres your group?" The other questioned. He was a bit shorter, and looked a bit tougher. His apple green eyes off set his look a bit, but you knew not to trust him just because he had a pretty face.

"Its just me." You said. You looked both of them up and down. The shorter one was bleeding from his stomach, and the other looked so sick you swore he was close to death.

"The hell happened to you?" You said, taking a cautious step back.

"We weren't bit, we're just sick. We haven't eaten in days."

You squinted your eyes and pointed at the other guy's stomach. "And him?"

"Got caught with a bad group." He said. He started looking a bit defensive.

"Who else is with you?" You asked.

When they told you it was just them, two very interesting ideas popped into your head.

First, you could help them. They obviously were in pretty bad condition, seeing as they both looked like they were about to pass out. You could bring them back to your camp and get them back to a semi- healthy condition and send them off. They could be assets to you in the future.

On the other hand, you didn't know them. For all you knew they could have been serial killers before the world went to shit. However, they were weak. Weak enough that you could take their things and run. Its not like they could chase you anyway, they couldn't even get away from rotting knuckle heads. They looked like they had good enough supplies, too. They knew what they were looking for.

Do you, help them or hurt them?
