Evil

Third Person’s POV

The sudden fight quickly called the attention of many people in the neighborhood. Both Sophie and Emma did not have the strength to separate both men and their violence.

“ROBERT!” Emma yelled

“They’re going to kill each other!” Sophie shouted

Emma had never seen Robert like that. He was not an aggressive person, not like that. Of course, when all those situations occurred and he was forced to go to jail or to be at the hospital, any one would get mad and aggressive. But Robert was not an aggressive person. He was really sweet, caring… stressed and nervous sometimes, yes, but she have never seen him like that. He was not the kind of person who would start a fight with someone else. Never.

She was scared… panicked, actually.

When Robert threw Harry to the car, breaking its glass, she honestly though he was going to kill him.

Thankfully, some neighbors quickly approached and separated the men, with a huge effort.

“AHHH!” Harry yelled in pain, “This guy’s f*cking insane!” he yelled, on the floor. His shirt was all read, his back was bleeding, his shoulder was injured and there were many other bruises in his face and body. When the glass broke, many pieces probably flew over his body.

Emma did not think twice, she ran to Robert as two men held him forcefully. His nose was bleeding and his face bruised as well.

“Robert…” Emma calmly said, touching his chest, while the men still held him

“The police will have to know about this” The men spoke

“Just call a bloody ambulance!” Sophie retorted

“Please stop, Robbie… please” his girlfriend whispered, her hands running up to his face, caressing him. He was breathing hard and sweating a lot, but he was also trembling.

“Let him go” She turned to the men

“What?” they were going to protest, but when they saw the look on Emma’s face, they ended up nodding.

When Robert had his hands freed, he quickly grabbed his head and let his body fall on the floor. She quickly knelt next to him and hugged him.

“Calm down, Robbie… everything is ok. He didn’t do anything. He’s just a jerk…” I whispered.

He shocked his head, not saying a word. She could feel his shakiness even when he breathed.

Meanwhile, Sophie walked up to Harry “You ok there?”

“What do you think?” he said, now in a weaker tone.

“Losing too much blood?”

“W-Who the hell is him, anyway? H-He attacked me out of nowhere!”

“Nowhere? I’m pretty sure that’s a lie. After all you did to his girlfriend, and now coming out of nowhere and trying to… get her back or whatever you had in mind. I’m beginning to think who should press charges on who, after all this stalk you did on Emma”

The man’s eyes widened “C-Charges? Stalk? HE ATTACKED ME!” he said, before moaning loudly in pain “He is her f*cking boyfriend? He’s completely mental!”

“A lot better than you, my friend” Sophie stood up “The ambulance must be arriving soon” she whispered before leaving the man to their friends.

Robert was still a lot bothered and nervous, he was now looking at his hands, covered with blood. She could see them trembling.

“It will be ok, Rob” She half smiled, sitting next to the couple.

“It’s ok, Robbie.” She handed him a small tissue to clean the blood from his hands “It’s ok”

Emma looked at her friend, scared. If Harry pressed charges against Robert, her boyfriend would be in real trouble. Being someone with a mental disorder, what could they do? Something good not for sure.

“I-Is he dead?” Robert finally asked

“What? No, Robbie, he’s not” she glanced at Harry, who weakly laid on the ground, with no one around him except one or two neighbors. Oh yeah, because after all the uproar, people just kept coming to see what was going on.

“But may I say that when you threw him at the car like that, I feared the worst” Sophie whispered

“I-I…” Robert tightened his fists “…wanted to” He whispered “I-I’m sorry… that’s an evil thing to say but… I… was…”

“Shhh…” Emma quickly held him against her, closing her eyes at his words and the thoughts about the future, what was going to happen now?

Soon, the ambulance arrived and she crawled into the ambulance with Robert and Harry. She immediately started to feel the urge of beating him just after five minutes. She made sure to held Robert tight against her so he wouldn’t lose it again.

“So, you’re dating a mentally sick person?” He commented “You can do so much better”

Emma rolled my eyes “Ignore him, Robbie” She whispered in his ear. The paramedic escorting them was silent during the ride, but paying attention to every one of them.

“He will never give you anything but trouble.” Harry said, his voice getting lazier and weaker by second

Robert’s fists tightened as Harry continued

“You can ever even be sure if he feels something for you”

Emma’s reaction was faster than any thought “Robert!” she held him back to his seat as he was about to get up.

“I can see why you got beaten” The paramedic commented, turning to Harry, “Please be quiet”

Emma thanked god that paramedic intervened and showed her a warm smile, playing with Robert’s hair. She couldn’t actually blame him for beating Harry. She was sure he provoked him, somehow, particularly if he didn’t know Robert was her boyfriend.

She was thankful everything was apparently fine, things could have turned out pretty bad. However, she just hoped Harry didn’t press charges against Robert.

But then again… we’re talking about Harry. She rolled her eyes at the thought.

“I’m so dirty” Robert whispered as the ambulance came to a stop

“You will be able to take a bath soon, baby, I promise”

His eyes locked with hers in such a intense stare “I’m sorry, Emma. I… never felt like this. I feel so… evil”

I hugged him “You’re not evil. You’re the best person I know, Robbie. I’m glad nothing worse happened. He actually deserved it. I just hope everything will be ok, now”

“They’ll lock me in a mental hospital”

“Shh…  I will not let that happen!” she hugged him tight, praying for that not to happen.

However, as soon as they entered the hospital, the first people they saw were policemen.
