6. Tie the god damn tie

It's been a month since Candice sold the flat and moved to the other side of the city , to live with her parents. Apart of me wishes I went with her . I must say I do miss her it feels weird to not wake up every morning and hear "Babe ya want a cuppa ?" .

I know I've complained about it before but who's going to call me 'babe' now or tell me all the celebrity gossip that I don't care about but really I love hearing about Brad and Angelina's split and who Harry Styles' new girlfriend is .

I moved back in with Mycroft for the time in a long time and let me tell you he is a pain in the god damn ass. You'd think a highly sophisticated man such Mycroft Holmes would know how to wash his own dishes or tie his own tie,  but no apparently not .

I don't mind though Mycroft has been somewhat of a friend to me the last few years , he took me under his wing and some how I became his boss? I don't know either I guess the student became the master.

In the past week however Mycroft and I have had a few disputes and by a few I mean we disagreed on everything and when I say everything I mean everything . The temperature of the house , why he's wearing odd socks , because my perfume is too strong are only a few things we disagreed on today alone .

Mycroft has also refused to let me cook for myself , he insists that he hired staff for a reason but none of them can make a cheese and onion toastie like I can and that's a fact . My toasties are mouthwatering but Mycroft insists that they are "an atrocious and monstrous creation" . I strongly disagree.

He also sent all the staff home and decided to take a shower but he turned on the cold tap and could not get the hot tap on I had to come into the bathroom and put on the shower for a grown man . No not even a grown man Mycroft Holmes , the British government , who claims his brother is the dumber of the two ! Which I may or may not agree with him on .

Some times I really do not know what to do with him. Although he did tell me a lot of gossip about Sherlock which maybe he shouldn't have done .

But as of now I am currently having tea in Mycrofts kitchen with John . He said that Sherlock was in one of his moods so he'd call over .

John is the only one who knows I'm staying with Mycroft not even Sherlock . Well John presumes Sherlock has not deduced it from him yet and Sherlock probably wouldn't come visit Mycroft if it would save his life.

But John and I have become particularly close in the past few weeks . I really do enjoy his company it's strange because I would consider John my friend and I've never really had friends . Even though I'm considering Mycroft, Candice , Derek and John my friends right now .I've had acquaintances , people I've spoken to and gotten along with but never friends. So I guess John was my first and the best part was I was able to tell that he felt the same . He felt comfort in telling me his problems with the dates he went on or what Sherlock has done to annoy him today , which was every day and I enjoyed the company. It was different with Mycroft yes he probably was my friend but we were friends because of our own reasons we worked together we got along quite well and he really was a big softy . Then Candice well her and I probably just grew to love each other I suppose and Derek the same we went through some pretty traumatic experiences together.

I brought my attention back to John . "I don't understand why would he shoot the wall?" John asked munching down on a brownie I had made earlier , one of the few things Mycroft would actually let me do by myself . Bake brownies .

"Bored" I shrugged my shoulders . Funnily enough I could understand why Sherlock would shoot the walk out of bordem. "That exactly what he said except he said it much more dramatically" John bitched about his best friend .
