Chapter 1: Running away

Hey, This is my first fanfic and i know the first chapter is short but they will get longer.

Samantha POV

I ran as fast as could away from home, away from HIM! My ribs still hurt from where he had kicked me and i was covered in blood. I escaped just in time, just as he was about to stab me with a knife. I managed to grab my phone and purse before i managed to escape dragging along my younger sister Zoe she is almost 12. I don't know why he only hurts me i mean i'm 18 next month yet he treats me like a piece of shit but he treats Zoe like a princess to gain her trust, that's why i dragged her with me. As soon as we were about 10 streets away i pulled out my phone to phone Olivia. Olivia is my best friend and we have been friends for as long as i can remember. i called Olivia

"OLIVIA COME AND HELP ME RIGHT NOW MY STEP-DAD ALMOST KILLED ME AND I MANAGED TO DRAG ZOE OUT OF THERE TOO SO HURRY UP!!!" i yelled down the phone quickly.

"Fine but you owe me big time its 2 o'clock in the morning"

Then I hung up waiting for her

Olivia's POV

As soon as Samantha Hung up I quickly got changed grabbed my car keys and got in my BMW. I was about to drive off before i realized i didn't know where i was going so i picked up my phone and called Samantha, I got voice-mail. "That's odd" i thought to myself. I drove around for a bit and i couldn't spot Samantha, then i noticed Zoe's blonde hair. I drove over to her and asked her where Samantha was and she burst into tears. I looked down and saw Samantha sprawled out across the floor. I looked up to see Conner (Samantha's Step-Dad) stood over the top of her holding a knife.
