My ghost

Chapter 2

GREYSON:

It couldn't be.
No it was impossible i was day dreaming again, i had to be

I was purely curious as to what would happen next when i followed her into the dark depths of the river.

Her car had raced by me at the foot of the bridge music blaring trough the open windows. I was surprised  to say the least , almost no one drove over the bridge. So for one to come here at such an alarming speed was a surprise to me, but of course there was a reason no one came here one she had to learn the hard way.

The planks cracked and whined below the weight of the car. She sped up  realizing her mistake,  but it was to late the planks of wood gave out from under the vehicle and it was over.

For a split second everything around me went quite ,the load splash echoing trough the air.Then i was running towards  the water diving in the minute i reached it without a second thought.
She had some how gotten  out of the car and was flailing around trying to move up but it wasn't helping much.

Did she even know how to swim?

I swam down with ease the water not affecting me in any way.
I watched as she stilled her hazel eyes filled with sorrow slowly close.

Her dress and hair slowly swayed in the water. She looked so peaceful it hurt to think i wouldnt be able to save her. Not that i wouldn't try.

Bubbles of air rippled to the surface as she breathed out.
Her body shook slightly but she remained un fazed.

I stopped in front of her. She looked so soft. I slowly caressed her cheek with my hands.

Her eyes sprang open meeting mine in an instant squinting her eyes  slightly.

Wait . Could she?
No that's not possible.

Her lips  opened and she croked
Out  "Help!" Her hand raised to rub her beck after she finished.

I held her under her arms and effortlessly dragged her up with me.

When we were at the surface she gasped in some air breathing heavily gulping in the air she needed.

A splash was heard in front of us and a dark haired boy took the girl into his arms.Now that i looked around there were a hand full of teenagers here. The girls were crying and the guys trying to offer help to the boy.

Wait when did they get here?

The boy dragged her onto land and ran with her to the approaching ambulance.

She was then put on a gerny and inspected by the paramedics.

The doors closed and the ambulance sped away to the hospital.
The group of teenagers dispatched and climbed in their cars.

Not thinking i jump into the back of one of the cars. Not as if i had anything better to do plus i was intrigued by  the girl... what would happen to her?

So thats how i got here sitting in the back of some random car driving to a hospital when i swore I'd never go to one again.
