Chapter 9

Big Mac's P.O.V

I sat in my bed, comfortable. *Door opens* "Big Mac I'm home honey! Would you like me to make you some breakfast?" Fluttershy asked as she arrived. "No that's alright, I eat already sweetie. Did you get that book you wanted?" I asked. "Yep." Fluttershy replied. "Big Macintosh could you please come downstairs for a moment." She was serious now. "E-eup." I got off my bed and headed downstairs to see my wife. We kissed. "I bought you somthing." She handed me a small box with pink wrapping. "A present? Why thank you!" I began to open it. I unwrapped the light pink wrapping and found a little box, I opened it to find..."A baby's rattle?" I asked."Yep." She stood there smiling."Why would I need a rat-" she glanced down at her slightly larger belly. "YOUR PREGNANT?" I yelled. Fluttershy shook her head up and down. "You're gonna be a father Big Macintosh." She grinned. I felt butterfly's in my stomach. "This is-" I paused to finish crying."Spectacular." I finished, as Fluttershy was crying while laughing."You're happy?" She asked me."Am I happy? I'm the happiest pony alive." She giggled, I love it when she giggles. Fluttershy pulled a book out from behind her back and handed it to me.

"This is what you went to Twilight's for?" He asked."Yep." She giggled again."Have you told anyone else?" I asked."Just Twilight." She told me."We need to go in to town and announce the news to everyone!" I was so exited. Who to call first? Apple Jack? Granny Smith? "I have a better idea!" She smirked."Let's have a party here! Every pony will see are new house and hear the news about the baby!" She said."Good idea!...though Manehatten is a long way to come from Ponyville for every pony." I sighed."Oh Macintosh how could you be such a sour Apple when you just found out you're a daddy!" Fluttershy giggled again and kissed my muzzle."You're right dear." I admitted."I will organize everything!" She galloped upstairs to do some party planning.

Fluttershy P.O.V

"Are you ready Big Macintosh? The party starts in 5 minutes!" I asked Big Mac."I'm almost ready my sweet!" He said."Good." I smiled as I continued to curl my hair."Fluttershy your hair is so beautiful, long, blond and silky." Big Mac told me."Thank you!" I laughed.'Makeup? A dress? Nah.' I thought to myself.'Ding Dong!' "Big Macintosh grab the door! It's our first party guest!" I whispered."E-eup!" He rushed to the door. "Hey Pinkie Pie!" Big Macintosh greeted her."Come upstairs to see Fluttershy!" Big Mac told her."Okey dokey lokey!" She bounced upstairs."Hey Fluttershy!" Pinkie Pie entered the room."Oh hi Pinkie!" I smiled. Twilight Sparkle entered the room."Hey Twilight!" Me and Pinkie said."Hey Pinkie, hey Fluttershy!" Twilight greeted us."I'm so exited for the party, I arrived as early as I could!" Pinkie said as she grinned. Me and Twilight grinned and laughed.

"Welcome, welcome, nice to see you!" I greeted my party guests as they entered. "Hi Fluttershy!" Finally everyone arrived. "Welcome everyone!" I whispered, the noise continued. "Um..everyone could I get your attention please?..maybe if you want." I whispered again. "Hi y'all!" Big Mac got everyone's attention. "Hello everyone!" I continued. "You're probably wondering why we invited you here?" I asked. "Yes!" The crowd said. "Well one, to present our new home and well I'm pr-preg..." I paused. "PREGNANT!" Big Mac finished. "Whoo!" The crowd cheered.

"That's truly amazing sugar cube! I'm really proud of you!" Apple Jack told me.

"Darling! Sweetie! Honey I'm simply amazed this is perfect! Congratulations!" Rarity told me.

"Thank you so much!" I replied.

"Hey Fluttershy you did great out there! Everyone's so exited!" Twilight told me.

I smiled shyly.

"FLUTTERSHY THAT WAS AWESOME! IM SO EXITED THATS SERIOUSLY AMAZING!" Pinkie Pie yelled as she bounced over.

"Fluttershy that's sick! I can't wait for the kid I hope it's a Pegasus! We can be flying buddies! I can teach it to fly!" Rainbow Dash said exited.

"Oh yes yes!" I exclaimed wondering what my baby will be, a girl? A boy? A Pegasus? Unicorn? Earth pony? There's endless possibility!
