MINA'S POV:

I yawned and opened my eyes to see a unfamiliar room.Shocked,I shot up to scan the room.It had pastel blue walls,a table on the other side,the window was covered by grey curtains.

There also was a boy sitting on a couch,looking at his phone,but as soon as he heard me moving he looked up at me."Your awake?"He gave me a soft smile,came next to my bed and squatted there,to be on my height.

Unsure what to do,I nodded."I am Taeyong.You are safe here,you just have to trust me.I will explain everything but you can change first.After that you can eat something,okay?"

Again I nodded and he gave me clothes and patted my head."When you are ready,just come out."Taeyong smiled at me and left me alone in this room.Slowly I got up and made sure that the door and the curtains were closed before putting off my hoodie and the short pants I wore.

The clothes were a gray sweatpants and a white crop shirt.I asked myself why they had fitting clothes for a girl,and planned to asked that Taeyong boy later.

In the room,I searched for a mirror and brushed my hair with my hands,since I didn't had a brush.When I was halfway satisfied with my look I opened the door and saw Taeyong leaning on the wall in front of the room.

He smiled at me and held his hand out to grab."Come,I'll introduce you to the other ones."I grabbed his hands and suddenly felt safe.Like I've met him before.He smiled and I smiled back.

He led me into a huge room with a big table,where about 20 boys sat down and ate."Everybody,attention.This is Lee Mina.I am sure you already heard of her.She will be staying with us for now,so please treat her good."Taeyong said to the other boys who now looked at me and him.

One of the boys stood up angry and left the room,brushing my shoulder with intention.Of course I flinched and was quite shocked since I didn't do anything."LEE JENO!"Taeyong let go of my hand and went after this Jeno boy,leaving me standing there alone.

A shorter boy approached me and smiled at me."Hi,I am Ten!I don't know if you remember but-" "I almost broke your jaw bone.Sorry for that."Nervously I looked down.

"No,it's fine.It was dark and I just grabbed you,I would have done the same.Come,eat something."Ten brought me to an empty chair and told me to sit down.

"What do you want to eat?"Another boy asked me."Uhm..what do you have?"I quietly asked."Cereals or bread or fruits."He said."I would take the fruits,if it's okay."My voice was really quite and I acted rather shy.Not typical for me.

"Yes,sure.I am Jisung.We are same aged and I hope we can get along well."He held his hand out and I took it and shook it.

"Chenle hyung,can you give me the fruit plate?"Jisung said to another blonde and he gave him the plate."I'm Chenle!Nice to meet you!"The blonde guy waved at me and I smiled back at him."Your name doesn't sound korean.Are you-" "Chinese?Yes I am.And so is Renjun.The boy right there."He pointed at a boy somewhere next to him.

"Hi."He simply said and smiled."I do speak chinese."I spoke in chinese."How cool!Why?"Chenle and Renjun asked in unison,also in chinese."I lived in China for about 3 years,before I moved to Japan,which explains why I also speak Japanese and then to Korea."

We talked a bit while eating,and I found out that Chenle was only a year and Renjun,Jaemin and Donghyuk only 2 years older then me.

When we finished,I wanted to help them with cleaning up but Taeyong came to me."Mina,come.We need to talk now."He said in a serious,yet soft tone."Just go,we can do it alone."Renjun patted my head.I nodded and followed Taeyong into a room that looked like a living room.

"Sit down,because what we will tell you might be a big much."He told me and pointed at a couch behind me.I nodded and sat down."So first,the boys here are Yuta,Johnny,Ten,Jaehyun and Winwin.They are very important and they will also be important to you."

"So,I am going to spit it out directly.We are a gang.All of the twenty one boys here are part of it.And before you freak out,we know your dad is also a in a gang, more a gang leader.And to be honest we are working for him."Taeyong stops and Ten continued."We weren't searching you but a certain other gang does.They want you as a play ball against your father so we wanted you more.As cruel as it's sounds.We won't harm you in any way,the opposite,we want to protect you."

What they said really shocked me."So my dad ordered you?"I asked,getting angry."No,it's not like that.Your dad doesn't know you're here.He owns a whole gang system called SM.It has different and independent groups,like us NCT.We and him rarely have contact.He won't find out your here and so won't DV."

"Who is DV?"My eyebrows furrowed and a unknown boy talked."A gang called Devil.They are one of the biggest and most dangerous gangs here in Asia.The gang that is searching you.Do you get our point now?"

I nodded and breathed loudly."But aren't you putting yourself into danger,when this other gang finds out?" "Yes,we are,so I want you to leave.Your useless anyways!"A voice began to talk behind me.

I turned around me to see the boy from earlier,Jeno,glaring at me with his arms crossed infront his chest."Jeno.."Ten started.

"Stop it,Ten.You know it too.This is the biggest risk we will ever take for a random girl-"Jeno got cut by Taeyong."CALL HER A RANDOM GIRL ONE AGAIN!"He yelled.

"I am not?"
