The diference of two best avengers in the game, in my own observation.

Jeanne Alter:

She can do significant damage in enemies with medium health
Her Noble Phantasm can hit many times in a single enemy.

Edmond Dantés:

Large damage in enemies
He can wipe out the whole wave with his noble phantasm
