A long Road Ahead

Its Raining

Im looking around as we huddle behind are desks.
The lockdown has been called 30 minutes ago. There still no answer.
People outside are screaming, i'm shivering because of the cold.
The screaming always stops...
Then a new scream begins, on and on.
All it is, is rain.
Is there more? Is there more then just rain?

I always liked the rain...
But now it took everything from me.

~~<Five Years Later>~~

I sit down on the counter and sigh.
I look at Julia and question why we're still down here.
"Where leaving soon." Julia says.
"Washington..?" i ask.
"Yeah, Washington." Emy says coming behind us.
Shay goes to the bathroom.
Aaron and Rose play around, Skelly is eating cereal with the artificial milk that the, 'O so wonderful' bunker provides us with.
"It's time to leave," I announce
"We've been here for 3 days."
Emy sighs and answers, "Better keep going"
I put my bag on and carry my pistol.
Julia puts her hand on the bunker and it opens.
We walk out.
I get in the back of an army vehicle. Emy goes in the drivers seat, as Julia goes into the front passengers seat.
Skelly sits on my left while Rose sits on my Right.
Shay and Aaron sit in the passengers seat.
We start moving.
We cover ourselves with the blue rain proof thing.
"It's raining..." Skelly says.
