"I'm starting to get worried." Courtney said. She looked down at the floor. Her long black hair cut off her peripheral vision. Her light blue shirt were just in her vision while her eyes focused on her shorts and sneakers. She was able to see some of the stains on the tiled floor of the hallway.
"We all are. That's why I have a plan." Diana said. She brushed back her long red hair away from her green eyes. Her dark blue shirt and ripped shorts revealed most of her skin, with her flip flops finishing the outfit.
"What's the plan?" Venessa said as she looked at the other two girls. Her basketball uniform fit loosely on her, especially with her sneakers on.
"We're gonna visit that abandoned house on 3rd street." Diana said.
"No were not! Do you know who reside there?!" Vanessa exclaimed in frustration.
"I heard the rumors, I just don't think they're true." Diana said as she looked at the three in front of her.
"Is someone scared?" Hailey, the fourth girl, teased. She smirked at the athletic girl.
"No! I just know that they aren't just rumors." Vanessa said as she turned to all of them. She looked for insurance, but she got devilish smirks instead. "Please don't. You all know I hate it." She said while backing away.
Before Vanessa had a chance to run away, Courtney was already gliding her nails up and down Vanessa's side. The sudden sensation caused the athletic girl to giggle loudly. Her hands made a desperate attempt to get Courtney away.
While Vanessa was busy, the other two snuck up on her and began tickling her other side and stomach. "NO! I hate this!" Vanessa yelled while laughing loudly. She tried to push them away, but the triple assault was too much for her.
After a couple seconds of tickling, the three let Vanessa go. The athlete was panting as she stared at the three. "I hate you all." She said tiredly.
"So you'll come, or do we need to take some persuasive actions?" Diana asked. Vanessa nodded while backing away slowly.
"You three have fun with that. I have other things I need to do." Hailey said as she began to walk away.
"You're not coming?" Courtney asked.
"I want to spend time with my boyfriend. We have a date two weeks from now and we want it to be perfect. We're working on everything from now till then. Sorry." Hailey explained.
Courtney was about to say something when Diana put her hand over the girl's mouth. "Have fun." Vanessa said.
"Thanks." Hailey said before leaving.
As soon as she did, Diana removed her hand from Courtney's mouth. "We could've used her help!" She yelled. Her voice echoed throughout the hallway.
"She was gonna find a way out anyway. Let's just get going." Diana said as she began to walk down the hallway, heading towards a door at the end of it. Vanessa and Courtney looked to each other for support. Courtney was the first to shrug and follow Diana. Vanessa quickly caught up to them, keeping pace with them.
When they walked outside, Vanessa and Courtney immediately headed for the sidewalk. Diana stopped and took off her flip flops before following them. "It's just a few blocks down." Diana said as she reached the other two.
"Then let's get this over with." Vanessa said before they walk down the sidewalk.
As they walked, Courtney looked up at the sky. Her eyes caught the orange red sky the accompanied the setting sun. "We're gonna get back late." She said. When she went to look at her friends, she noticed that they were already in front of a rundown house, that had holes in its exterior, that was a block away. The door and window frames were rotten, barely holding anything together.
Courtney quickly ran towards them. When she arrive, she saw Diana walking up to the house. "Maybe we should check tomorrow." Vanessa said.
"Let's just get it over with so the scaredy cat can go home." Diana teased as she walked through the rotten door. Courtney quickly got behind Vanessa and pushed her through the door.
As they entered, they heard freaking coming from below them. "Careful. The floor may collapse." Diana said as she carefully stepped around. Her bare feet made the floor creek with each step she took.
Vanessa and Courtney followed behind Diana. However, Courtney took a step on an unstable part of the floor. The floor immediately broke apart. Courtney fell into the hole, screaming as did. Vanessa and Diana immediately went to the edge of the hole and looked down into the darkness that Courtney fell into.
"Courtney!" Diana yelled. However, they received no response. Instead, they both felt someone push them down the hole. Vanessa screamed as she fell while Diana attempted to look up at who pushed them. As she could see was a tan mask smiling at her with long black hair.
After a few seconds of falling, the two fell onto a few mattresses that were laid out for them. Diana quickly sat up and looked around. However, her vision suddenly became blurry. Within seconds, she fell over and went to sleep with Vanessa passing out a second later.
