"Oh, my gosh!" Renee squeaked, popping her head up from where it was hidden by a book. I looked at her in surprise, along with the rest of my friends.

Renee Lupin was never one to look up for longer than a moment when she was reading a 'good book.' And The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was one of her recurring series.

She rolled her eyes at us, tossing a lock of dusty brown hair over one shoulder. I zoomed in on what she was focusing on with my eyes, and gasped.

A teenage boy stood in the middle of the train, arms crossed over his toned chest as he tried to figure out what he wanted from the candy trolley. He was facing me so I could see that he had shocking red hair, and startling bright green eyes. I could tell that he was actually really cute.

I shook myself out of the thoughts when the boy turned his head in my direction. I turned my attention down at my lap, blushing wildly. When I looked up I was happy to see that Renee had went back to her book, and Siena Black and Phoebe Pettigrew were in their own conversation.

No one seemed to notice that I wasn't engaged in what was happening around me, and I was thankful that I had breathing room to think what had happened through.

Something was strange about him . . . He wasn't like the other boys, I could tell from one look. He had this kind of innocent, yet ferocious era around him. I wonder why I hadn't seen him around. I took a deep breath, shaking my head to myself. No. I did not have a crush on a boy I hadn't even met.

"That's it," I whispered quietly to myself, "You don't have a crush, you're just curious."

"What was that?" Phoebe asked suddenly.

I looked up to see all of them looking at me like I had grown three heads. I blushed as I realized what that must have looked like.

"N-nothing!" I said quickly, wincing as the horrible lie left me.

"Mhmm. I think we should send you to a mental hospital." Renee joked weakly, and I frowned as I looked at her. She had dark bags under her eyes, and her skin was paler than usual. I frowned, I had known it was close but not this close.

Crazy. I was crazy.
