Chapter 1 - Alyssa woke up in her dorm she yawned loudly she stretched, went out of bed, took a shower, got changed and made breakfast. She made waffles and bacon when it cooked she put it on a plate and then ate it quickly, then she put it away then went downstairs and went into her classroom. Alyssa got out her notebook and textbooks then her best friend Mia came to the classroom late. "Sorry teacher I was at the hospital," Mia said quietly she then sat next to Alyssa. Mia smiled at Alyssa then started staring at Ethan, Alyssa budged Mia and said "Hey pay attention Mia" Mia sighed and wrote down notes. I'm in love with Layla Williams Alyssa wrote at the back of her notebook. The classroom bell rang and all the students put their textbooks and notebooks into their bags it was now a free period where the students could roam around for a while. Mia and Alyssa got up and left the classroom they sat on the floor by their most favourite art piece in the hallway "I shouldn't like Ethan this much but he is so handsome the way his eyes gleam when the sun hits them is so.... majestic"
Mia said in awe. Alyssa sighed she couldn't tell her best friend she was in love with her mortal enemy. Layla walked down the hallway slowly holding Ethan's hand both Alyssa and Mia stared in jealousy, Layla walked towards them "Hello Alyssa my dear and gross Mia how are you?" she said smiling at Alyssa and giving Mia a dirty look "We're fine thanks but we should go" Mia grabs Alyssa's hand Alyssa turns around and smiles at Layla waving goodbye. Mia stops finally at the lockers she sighs "That girl is a straight up-" Alyssa said before being interrupted by Ethan who followed them "A straight-up what?" his deep voice enchanting Mia "A straight-up cutie!" Mia said with a huge smile on her face. Ethan smiles back at her "You guys should come to my party after school" he gives them an invitation Mia and Layla nod in agreement. Ethan leaves Mia freaks out "He smiled at me oh my gosh!" Alyssa rolls her eyes "So what it's just a smile" Alyssa says coldly Mia looks confused "I'm sorry for talking about my feelings." Mia runs away. "Mia wait!" Alyssa says tearfully.
