You had been best friends with Steve Harrington since you were born.
He was two when you were born and were neighbors so when your parents' would hang out the two of you would play together.
You spent most of your time together. And since he was two grades ahead of you he would help you with your homework.
Occasionally you would even help him with his homework.
When he got his drivers license you guys would explore more outside of where you two would walk together.
And that was pretty far.
So to sum things up you two were best friends. You were a nerd, he was a jock. The best of both worlds.
And you loved him.
And he loved you.
You were sitting in the passengers seat in Steve's car on the way to your favorite records store, Empire Records.
"You're quiet today" Steve stated the obvious, not taking his eyes off the road.
"Oh yeah, I don't know" you said looking over at him.
He laughs"What are you going to look for at the store?" He asks
"I don't know, something that I think I will like" you laugh
"Ha ha" he laughs, mocking you
"I would also like to hit the book store on the way back" you say happily.
"You're such a nerd"
"I know"
"I love you"
"I know"
That was the day Steve Harrington became your boyfriend.
