Lola: who are they?

Kyann: they are my new family....my father, Laurent and my uncle, Larry

Lola: hi guys

Lau: * waves and politely smiles *

Lola: i came by because I wanted to see you and talk to you about something...

Kyann pov

When Lola told me she had something to tell me that's when I got nervous. What if she tries to take me back. I don't wanna go with her. I love the family I have now. But I say " okay " and listen to what she has to say

Lola: I wanted to come by and explain why I did what I did to you.

Me: okay, I'm listening

Lola: when I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself that I wasn't ready to raise a baby. I wasn't mature enough and I knew that so instead of aborting you... I put you in the orphanage where someone who was mature enough to take care of you would adopt you.

Me: oh * says sadly *

Lola: see so it wasn't that I didn't love you or anything. It was just that I didn't wanna take care of someone else and I couldn't even take care of myself. There's a saying " in order to love someone you have to love yourself first "

Me: but there's something you should know too

Lola: okay

Me: because you did that. I've been through terrible things

Lola: what do you mean

Me: well... before dad and bunny adopted me-

Lola: who's bunny?

Me: uncle Larry, I call him bunny instead. But before they adopted me. I had been with 4 different families and they all abused me. And then bunny and papa came along and I've never been happier.

Larry's pov

I could see how sad kyann was but I was happy he knew the truth and that he was comfortable enough to tell her what he's been through in the past. But I was so into my thoughts I didn't hear kyann or Lau calling me.

Lau: BRO ANSWER... HELLO?!

Kyann: BUNNY * pause * BUNNY ANSWER

AFTER 5 minutes

Me: what- what did you say?

Kyann: i said can you ask her if she is trying to take me back? I-I'm to shy to do it

Me: sure, ky * turns to Lola * so are you trying to.. umm take him back

Lola: no, no I see how happy he is with you guys and I don't want to ruin that. But if he wants to spend time with me, see me more, talk to me more. He can, but it's his decision

Me: okay, he wanted me to ask, * whispers * he was to shy to ask

Lola: I understand... well it's time for me to go I have to go to work now
