The car stopped as she awaited her moment

As he opened the door, her father held out his hand

Clutching it for reassurance, she stepped out into her dream

She stared in awe at the striking scene ahead

How everyone was cheering in the atmosphere of joy

Climbing up the steps and in through the doors,

She strolled down the aisle wearing an ivory satin dress

Overwhelmed by the feelings consuming her

The happiness, the excitement, the anxiousness and anticipation

She saw her future standing before her,

Waiting to embrace her in his arms

She stopped at the altar as her father gave her away

Looking up into her loves eyes, she gave his hand a squeeze

“You look beautiful” he said, giving her a boost of confidence

Reciting the wedding vows to her prince charming,

She imagined her bright future awaiting her

Riding away in her horse driven carriage,

She smiled in happiness as she realised,

That she had finally been granted her childhood dream
