**********Rylie's POV**********

Each day got easier except for when I checked my phone I always had endless miss calls and messages from him to the point where I ended up blocking his number because my phone would continuous glitch from messages coming through.

I blocked him. My best friend for 3 years and boyfriend for 2 and I just blocked him beach his calls and messages were making my phone screen glitch. Wow, I can't believe I blocked him but it felt so good. I always felt like he was holding me back from what I truly wanted to do. He never wanted me to go to Canada and he definitely didn't want me to live there either, so not having anyone holding my back felt like the greatest feeling of my life. I truly missed his company and the laughing we constantly shared but I always felt like I was only ever really with him because well he was safe and my parents loved him, he was so easy to get along with and well that about it.

4 hours until our flight and my heart was racing making my hands shake uncontrollably, I was finally leaving Australia and my old life, to start fresh with a new one I have been dying to get to for years now, With my best friend Laura.

We drove to the airport in separate cars, I was with all of my siblings and my parents whilst she was traveling with her parents and brothers. I couldn't help but hold both my sister's hands the whole hour in the car, leaving them was going to be extremely hard. They both had been my absolute back up girls since I was born and being 5 years older than me I always referred to them as the people I would tell everything too because mum and dad were way too strict! They knew everything about my life, the first time I had alcohol, my very first kiss that was the most awkward thing in my life and the time I lost my virginity. I had shared absolutely everything with these 2 girls more than I had with anyone else in my whole life and leaving them was going to be full of messy mascara-filled tears and extreme sobbing.

Whilst trying to find a park in the airport I felt my stomach slowly dropping and my whole body started to heat up as I was uncontrollably sweating. I stepped out of the car wearing my grey tracksuit pants Nike air forces and a navy hoodie with a comfy pink airplane pillow placed around my neck. My brother William had taken it upon himself to retrieve all my suitcases from the back of the car as I began packing my camera into my backpack.

The walk through the car park was much better than I expected, we mainly spoke of the old times we all lived at home and how high school musical was our absolute jam. We reminisced of this one time we took all the blue sheets out of the cupboards and placed them all around the room pretending we were at the beach swimming around until mum was basically historically crying wrapping her arms around my body. By this time we had made it to the luggage drop off, I had 2 suitcases filled with all my clothes and one backpack that had my camera and of course a shit load of food for the long flight.

Dad helped me get my boarding ticket and all my suitcases safely onto the plane before grabbing my arms and bringing me into a very passionate strong hug. I was definitely going to miss this, my family.

Laura and I took so many pictures at the international departure and even posted a few to Instagram before giving each one of our parents and siblings hugs. Through all the crying and sadness, my brother brought us all into a big group hug and handing me and Laura both a card that said had our names written on them along with 2 small wrapped boxes. We both opened our cards that contained beautiful words from our families and $1000 dollars each which had us both grinning and crying with happy tears, we both than tearing open the small wrapped boxes which had a small necklace with the initials of our names R.P and L.F. We put the necklaces on before having one last hug and walking towards the doors leaving our families for 6 weeks

We began looking for our gate immediately before feeding our hunger. Although I didn't care where our gate was because I am so hungry and could barely think straight due to my stomach rumbling. Laura, on the other hand, being the prepared one had the airport map out and leading us towards our gate. After 10 minutes we saw 'G1' standing out in massive green writing ending our pathway, we had finally found our gate! Now food time.
