Chapter 8: "it was all just a....."

The next morning

Selina's POV:
I woke up with a huge headache and realised I was in Bruce's room but I didn't see him next to me, then I heard a door unlock and I turned my head towards the bathroom and saw him walk out in only a towel, "forgot my clothes" he said grinning and i couldn't help but laugh at his weirdness. "good morning to you too" I replied giggling. "Good morning babe" he said kissing me quickly. "Go get dressed" I said pushing him towards the bathroom. After he finished getting dressed, I went into the bathroom to take a shower and then I got dressed. I walked out Of the bathroom and back into Bruce's room but he wasn't there. "Bruce?" I asked but had no reply. I walked out thinking that he just Went to eat his breakfast but as soon as I walked out of the room, I felt two (incredibly strong) hands wrap around my waist and lift me up. I screamed, and as soon as I heard the person laugh, I knew it was Bruce. I stopped screaming and turned to him as he put me down. "Shut up" i said, pretending to be mad. "That was epic tho" he said laughing, and I couldn't help but laugh too, his laugh was just so contagious.

After they had eaten breakfast  (I'm lazy so just skip to after)

(7 hours later)

Selina's POV:
For the past 7 hours me and Bruce have been climbing trees and swimming in the pool but now we're inside drying off as we went swimming in our clothes. We were sitting by the fire with hot cocoa, and I was laying my head on Bruce's shoulder. " I'm exhausted" I said yawning. " you can sleep if you want" he said but sounded fully awake as he said it. How on earth is he not even a bit tired??? "Aren't you tired?" I asked genuinely confused at his activeness. "Not really, no" he replied. "Oh." 

Bruce's POV:
I looked down at Selina and saw that she was actually awake now. "Wait a sec" she said. "What?" "How did you swim and climb that tree today??" She asked. " what do you mean, I used my arms and legs" I said. " well obviously, but didn't it hurt?" She asked. "Hurt?, why would it hurt " I asked confused. "Because of your back!" "What's wrong with my back" I felt fine. "Bruce stop being stupid" she said. "Selina, I have no idea what your talking about." " you got shot, remember?" " what?? No I didn't!" I said, what is she taking about, when did I get shot??" She looked confused and paralysed. "Babe?"  "Selina??, are you okay??"

"It was a dream!" She whispered to herself.
"What?"
"It was a dream!" She said a little louder.
" What?"

She started shaking really bad. "Selina?? Selina??"

"ALFRED!" I shouted. "ALFRED" I shouted again.

He ran in and saw Selina on the floor. She was having a seizure.
"Call 911!!" I shouted.
After 15 minutes the ambulance came and put her in a stretcher. Me and Alfred got in and then closed the door and drove out the gates.

That's the end. This book is officially done with. I happy that this book is over becuz it's literally the worst thing ever lol. Thnx for reading this book and I hope it didn't mess ur brains up too much.
